Book Description

Hanna hovers close and whispers in the nannies ears directing them to a special baby for the kind woman named Ellen. Facilitating perfect matches through adoption is what this story explains. The book transforms what is typically understood as a bureaucratic process, into one driven by human kindness and a bit of magic. Based on the real processes experienced by adoptive families, the story follows the events starting with a womans desire to adopt, and ending with a perfect match made between an adoptive family and an infant. The books character, Hanna the Angel, is the coordinator of kind interactions between an adoptive mother, an adoption agency, and the staff at an orphanage. Hanna inspires the heartfelt motivations of all who participate in the process of adoption. The book concludes with a job well done by Hanna who brings a baby and a loving family together. The story offers an explanation for the adoption process that can be shared with a child. Hanna the Angel captures the magic and spirit at the heart of adoption for both parent and child.

Touched by an Angel's Tear
Touched by an Angel's Tear is a delightful children's book about a childless woman's journey to adopt a child of her own and the miraculous outcome for her and her special baby. It will bring tears of joy for both parents and children who read the book. The illustrations wonderfully capture the heartwarming emotions of the characters throughout her journey. The story will help all children understand the happiness that adoption brings to both the child and parents.

This review is from: Touched by an Angel's Tear (Hardcover)
As a mother of an adopted daugther from China and as an educator, I think this is a wonderful story to share with your adopted child or loved ones to give them an understanding of the special connection a mother and an adopted child have. I love reading this book with my daughter. She often asks if Hanna is still helping mommies and babies to become happy families. What a great story!
