This album was a minor hit when it was released in 1972, it only reached number 79 on the US album chart, but hit 32 on the US Country Album chart. It made the top 40 in the UK. It is a good collection of Gospel songs, however there are better Elvis Gospel collections now available. Unless you are an avid Elvis fan who has to have every album he released, I would recommend that you pass on this set and get his Ultimate Gospel CD instead. It includes more than twice as much music.
