No more touching,
This review is from: Touched: The Jerry Sandusky Story (Paperback)
"Touched: The Jerry Sandusky Story" will fit nicely in your bookshelf along such classics as "Knifed: The O.J. Simpson Story," "Fondler: Confessions of a Pedophile," and "Avoiding Blue Dresses: Sexual Harassment for the Aspiring Politician."

Completely misleading title,
By dakota loomis (lawrence, ks United States) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Touched: The Jerry Sandusky Story (Paperback)
100% false advertising by Mr. Sandusky. Not a single page in this book "touches" on how to appropriately gain the trust of young, at-risk boys, and then use that trust to perpetrate horrifying sexual assaults on the very children who turned to you for guidance and support. Almost as disappointing as the first time I watched "Touched by an Angel." Don't even get me started on that bullcrap. I still can't watch anything with Della Reese in it.

Pulls way too many punches,
This review is from: Touched: The Jerry Sandusky Story (Paperback)
Look, confession here: I own a copy of this book. It's an okay read if you're into learning about the 3-4 defense and how to beat the Miami Hurricanes and stuff like that, but it lacks the most important detail of all: the child rapes. Why isn't there anything in here about the child rapes? I mean, he has a chapter on how great his dad was; surely the child rapes are just as important as Pappa Art Sandusky's tutelage, perhaps more so if one considers that Sandusky opened a foundation for the express purpose of child raping. So until Jerry revises this book to include more about the child rapes (perhaps he can write an epilogue on toilet paper when he's in the pokey), I'm going to have to withhold that second star.

When it comes to touching, there's nobody I know of that can better call upon 40 years experience of bad touch than one Jerry Sandusky.Stay hard Jerry. You sick piece of excrement.

Seriously? What a slap in the face to all of his victims! A book titled "Touched" written by a pedophile.,

Mr. Sandusky is both a genius and a narcissist, which makes him the perfect predator. At no time was his narcissim more apparent than when he titled his book "Touched". I guarantee this coward will "off" himself, before he ever spends a day with the general prison population. I, for one, would like to see him spend the rest of his life locked up with the general prison population; then, perhaps he can write the sequel entitled "Touched II: Predator Becomes Prey".

Prophetic,
This review is from: Touched: The Jerry Sandusky Story (Paperback)
Prophetic. An instant classic of unfathomnable depths. Tightly packed with behind the scenes moments of intimate collision. A shear monument to literature detailing the powerful, forceful thrusting forward it takes to grab that true goal. This book details all the lost fondles, caressing maneuvers and come from behind cleverness that it takes to reach around the jaws of defeat and come into the annals of greatness.

Jerry touched the lives and genitals of many,
By
This review is from: Touched: The Jerry Sandusky Story (Paperback)
In this book, Jerry talks about how he "touched" many vulnerable children through his wonderful foundation. Jerry always made sure the kids were showered, sometimes several times a day. He was even nice enough to advise them how the water was much warmer by him. Jerry went to extreme measures in order to ensure that all genitals were clean before exiting the shower. Jerry would take kids to ball games and offer them a place to stay. In return, Jerry only asked for small favors. Penn St. officials in particular hold Jerry in the highest regard, as he was a fixture on campus. Penn St. alum knew how important a jerry shower ritual was and respectfully never said a word about Jerry's showers. He was indeed a well respected man on campus, as was Joe "Lips Sealed" Paterno. If you have ever been touched by Jerry, your life will never be the same. Sometimes, we just all need a good back crack and a pounding in the shower. Jerry was always available to offer up these services. Currently, Jerry resides in the State Pen, where he still performs the same shower rituals that made him famous. Jerry recently changed his name to "Geri" and can be seen sporting kool aid lipstick and a sock stuffed bra. To show their respect, Geri's roomates perform back crack and poundings in the shower. Many were touched by Jerry and those who were will never forget Jerry Sandusky.

Trouble telling the truth?,

This review is from: Touched: The Jerry Sandusky Story (Paperback)
From the introduction: "More often than not, there is Jerry's version of the story, and then there is what really happened."...Good to keep in mind if he takes the stand.

fascinating insight into the mind of a child molester,
By
This review is from: Touched: The Jerry Sandusky Story (Paperback)
It doesn't matter whether Sandusky makes money on this or not. Every dime he does will go to cover lawsuits, so I think by buying the book we'll be helping the victims. The book should be in print, like Mein Kampf, the papers of the Spanish Inquisition, the Thoughts of Chairman Mao, and other such tomes, so it will forever stand as a monument not only to a child molester, but to one who had the nerve to praise himself in print as a great humanitarian. Read properly, too (for instance, search for "locker room" and take a look at pp. 184 and 218) it is also a fascinating study in how the real man sneaks through. |
