I like that Amazon is testing out stories like this using inexpensive animation to bring a screenplay to life to see if it is working. Yes this story can use work in spots but the basic idea is very interesting and cool and I got very involved in what was happening to the characters. I am looking forward to checking out other Amazon test movies.

Good concept. I would definitely like to see beyond the basic storyboard as it looks like it would make for an interesting full length film.

The idea of having test videos is fantastic. The storyline is good. Agreed that it could use some work in areas, but definitely a great start. Only concern is the basis, super powers is being done a lot right now, so this movie needs to have something truly special or it won't stand out.

I enjoyed watching it from the start but when I saw it was animated, like a comic strip kind of animation, I almost truned it off. The story then pulled me again, but when she started talking about her powers, how they started, how they were found and when she started at the special school it really reminded me of X-men, where they all had different ways of being special and different, misfits with powers. Even the way she couldn't get close to people like Rogue and she lost all the people in her life due to it. But it is written well and pulls you in like a cool cominc book story pulls you in..So I think it is interesting and I would be interested in seeing it as a movie, I don't know how well it would do since it is so similar to X-men but then again it does take you into a different idea of using the powers to help track down criminals in a very fast unusual way. If it was changed a bit epsecially in the beginning it might do well

No, I would not see this in a theater nor would I spend the money to rent it. I would watch it for free on Netflix or on Amazon.
It's rather creative to be sure but the quality of the voice actors leaves something to be desired.
Must be my connection speed because it seemed choppy but maybe that is how it's supposed to be.
I don't know.
Kudos to the writer. Sorta been done before but never like this.
Thought it was going to be live action. Guess I was wrong.

I wasn't sure what to expect with the Amazon test movies, but I was pleasantly surprised with Touching Blue. It does, like others have said, need some work in some areas like aspects of plot line development, but it is after all just in the story board stage. I would watch this as a live action movie, I would read it if it were a graphic novel, and I would especially watch it if it were in a TV series format. I think Touching Blue would lend itself well to the episodic format.

I hadn't heard of these little movies until today, but I must say I found the premise interesting enough to watch the whole video. Sure the graphics are draft quality, but the screenplay works and as a live action or well done graphic movie, I'd pay to see it next time. Keep up the good work Amazon, innovation doesn't just happen, you have to work at it.

There is a double entendre in the title I gave to this animated film. You will have to watch it to get the meaning but this is a film that should be produced for general audiences. There are parts that could be sharpened and finding the right actress for Blue is crucial. But the concept is excellent and the writing, with minor improvements, will be as well. So, get going!
