1.0 out of 5 stars More than a bit of bias ...
Not only does Krause have people he know writing positive reviews, but he has also spammed the parenting boards on AOL with ads touting his own book ... but he doesn't indicate in the ads that he's shilling for HIMSELF!

5.0 out of 5 stars Touching Hearts, Teaching Greatness, September 18, 2008
This review is from: Touching Hearts, Teaching Greatness (Hardcover)
My son has been blessed to have Mr. Krause as a teacher. I really don't understand the negative comments? My son has NEVER been so excited about school in his life. This man, as a teacher, has taken teaching to a level where he captivates the soul. If I am bias, that is Ok, I know from personal experience how he has impacted my teenagers life. My son ALWAYS has a Mr. Krause story, and is excited to share with us. He isn't a dictator type of teacher, he takes an entirely different approach, and in the process, he earns the esteem of his students. This book is filled with special stories that touch the heart. I highly recommend this book, because I know what the man behind the name has meant to our son. To the person in Texas, he teaches in Missouri, how can your daughter have him? And made up sappy stories-no, I don't think so. I think if more teachers took the time to listen to their students, inquire about them, ask questions like Mr. Krause does-students would be more inclined to open up. My son doesn't play sports, he only knows him in the classroom setting.

PS. He has NO idea I have read his book, and am now writing a review!

1.0 out of 5 stars A little biased don't you think?, November 21, 2001

Chelsea from "Texas" is a student in one of Tom Krause's classes. A little biased don't you think? Personally I didn't like the book at all. Way too many sappy, made-up stories. But if that's your thing, go for it.
