Touching smoke is a unique adventure; Fallon and her mother have been on the run her entire life, she has no friends and no relatives other than her mother, her father died when she was just a little girl or so she thinks until her unstable little world comes crashing down on her in the form of fire controlling Demons and a powerful, gorgeous super sexy Knight in not so shiny armor.

Fallon and her mother need to run for their lives, or risk losing it. Her mother's life changing revelations force Fallon to accept Isaiah's help and together they start a journey that will change the way Fallon views the world and her reality forever.

I loved this book, the plot is amazing it's fresh is unique and very entertaining, Fallon and Isaiah are very likable characters and the story is pretty engaging.
At first when I discovered this was another "insta love" kind of book , I felt disappointed cause I expected a lot more due to the plot; then I realized that it wasn't like that that this particular part of the story had more twists and turns that what I was able to see at first sight and when I realized why things where that way I was speechless. So yeah guys please trust me, even if it seems this book is about insta love it truly isn't. The author has a super HUGE valid reason to present the story like that and it's amazingly original!!!!!!

I really enjoyed this book is really, really good it has some grammar and spelling problems but the book is so good that well, I didn't care about them much, plus it looks like as if an auto correct was at fault for the mistakes so must likely the book got jiggled while formatting....

Can't wait to get my hands on the next book, it really is that good, I give this book 4 stars only for the formatting issue cause otherwise it's a 5 star without discussion

This line captured my attention right away: For sixteen-year-old FALLON BRAEDEN, being on the run had always been a mystery, until the day she starts an earthquake and everything falls apart. Well, as you can see, one must learn more. A sixteen-year-old girl causing earthquakes? My question was: why would a young girl start an earthquake, there seems to be very little benefits from such a disaster. I got out my kindle and set course for a new adventure that promised many things; suspense, fear...excitement. I read Touching Smoke in one sitting; I simply couldn't put it down!

This book was Awesome! Just when I thought I had it figured out...Boom! The story rounded another corner. Heart and body filled with excitement, I hugged that curve and followed it through. The plot, the characters, and even the villains, none of them held a straight road, from back stories to plans to their at-this-moment actions, nothing was predictable. I loved it!

Quickly, I found myself linking with Fallon, we seem to share the same sense of humor. My favorite line: "Great! I'm defective." I almost dropped my Kindle I was laughing so hard. I came across this line and said "That sounds like something I would have said." Let's not forget the hottie that greatly added to this page-turning journey. He turned out to be just as surprising as the rest of the story.

I am afraid to say much more, for fear; I will give something away and ruin the surprise for you. In conclusion, this was wonderfully written and pieced together nicely. Airicka Phoenix, Kudos! Touching Smoke was a fun to read. Thank you for allowing, us the readers, to be a part of your world. I can't wait to join Fallon, and the others, in the next book, Touching Fire!

Loved it!

I am total Isaiah fan! I loved this book. It was sweet, sexy, swoony and extremely entertaining! The whole story kept me up all night and on my toes. Flows great, wording was believable and natural, characters likable and rooting for them!

Need book two now. Wondering how Amalie and all that will play out in the story.

My friend Krystal bought this book for me what? a month ago or so and just have been so busy I didn't have time to read it.

I finally got the chance to this week. I kick myself for not reading it sooner.

Mother and daughter constantly on the run, from who? The daughter Fallon has no idea. She just knows that she changes schools way too much. More than most military kids.

I really loved this book. It is a new story line that I haven't read before. Well not to this extent. The possibilities crept into my mind.

I can't wait for the next one.

Where to begin? Airicka has created something quite unique with Fallon and Isiah's world. At the beginning i thought it was going to be about vampires or even werewolves, and Fallon herself even pokes fun at this when she is trying to guess what Isiah is, and boy, was i wrong. As the book progresses, we discover it involves genetic experimentation, and boy do i love a bit of science thrown in with my fantasy! This book has so many twists and turns that i didnt know where it was going to go to next and what was going to happen to Isiah or Fallon. And trying to figure out Fallon's connection to Amalie, a mysterious girl whom she keeps dreaming about.... when i finally discovered the connection it had me stumped. A very mysterious, edge of your seat read and cannot wait for Touching Eternity, due out 20th December! I totally recommend it!
