Outstanding!!!! High Contrast's 3rd album and his best yet, which is really saying something. I have every Hospital artist/compilation release and this is as good, if not better than those before it.

The anthem that is 'If we ever' is on here, as is 'In-a-gadda-da-vida'. 'Ghosts of jungle past' is an absolute tune but my favourite here is the dancefloor destroyer 'Metamorphosis'.

I've been a big fan on HC for a long time. I also really dig Logistics, London Elektricity and any Hospital mix.

This is a great album--that's my whole review--it's just great. A bit less soulful than LE, but it's got the bouncy, liquidy pep that guys like Danny Byrd lack.

It's not the evil DnB that guys like Evol or Ewun put out--which I love equally. This is just get-out-of-your-chair-and-move-your-ass music.

This is the 3d IMPORT version released in Japan and includesa bonus track - the b-side track to the "Everythings different" vinyl 12" release called "Green Screen".. Worth it if your a huge fan of HC!!!

After hearing his latest Radio 1 broadcast a few weeks ago, we almost immediately bought this release. While it is different (as named in track 2 ) than previous High Contrast releases, it appeals to a more mature audience and is all the more better for doing so! As stated in other reviews, D&B is, apparently going into a different direction, but this change is openly welcomed by me- I love this mix and it hasn't left my mind since first listening to it. Pounding, driving bass, great samples, and a wonderful mood about the piece... Expect to have your world rocked with this one.

I fell in love with his past two albums...and this is a nice III to top off the trio. DnB may be advancing and changing, but what genre doesn't? Some people may not like the direction in which he is heading, but I think it's a nice step towards the more mature DnB ~ Intelligent even. If you like High Contrast, you're sure to appreciate his mature sound in Tough Guys Don't Dance.

High Contrast, what happened to you and your innovative and creative attitute to the DNB? Your music sounds all the same on this album and this album is very very boring. I am sorry to say that since you were one of my DNB favourites....
