Robert Schuller's book "TOUGH TIMES NEVER LAST BUT TOUGH PEOPLE DO" gave me the insight to understand life and the knowledge that everyone goes through tough times at some point in their lives. The challange is how we deal with those times and how each one of us can take these difficult situations and turn them around into something miraculous. When you think you just can't take one more step and you read this book you will know that you can and as Dr. Schuller says, "inch by inch anything's a cinch!" If YOU are going through very tough times I strongly suggest you read this book so that you too can become a "possibility thinker" and turn YOUR "scars into stars"!

Great book! Very inspiring! If you use the book's bottom line, to never give up, and repeat it to yourself so you eventually believe it, the book will work miracles! It is a must read!

This book was written to help us learn how to cope with our tough times, but i think it can also help us in the good times too. There is a small line in my thinking between good times and bad. It all has to do with attitude. What kind of attitude do we have? Are we happy in all that happens to us in life? It's very easy to be up beat and happy in the goodtimes, but what does it take to make us joyful in the bad times? This book can help out in our programing ouselves to be happy in all times. May i please suggest this book to everyone.

No wonder Rober Schuller with his inner wisdom shares his thoughts to show you how to build a self image with positive thoughts and know the truth that after every storm, there is a calm! Every problem has a solution. Tough times never last..is a Gift giver to self and others. It's the attitude to get going when the going gets tough as you face the challenges in life and struggle to face obstacles that rob your mental or physical peace. I gave this book to my hubby during his worst trial period of life in his career and he came out with positive influence to be a sane and wise decision maker to start a business on his own and reach to heights of success today! There is always a twist n sharp turns in life and Rob's book with his dynamic principles in life makes you build positive self image and turn out to be a success. Life isn't a tempest nor a midsummer night's dream, But a comedy of erros, Take it As you Like it!!! A Spiritual Motivation - another bedside shelf book to peek-a-boo to boost your spirits. i was frustated,depressed and lost interest in life.fortunately my friend handed over me this book called "Tough Times Never Last, but Tough People Do!".it was like energizer,life giving to me. i am proud to say that my way of living,my way of thinking,my attitude has completely changed.now i dont get depressed.i am always in best spirits.thanks to sir.Robert Harold Schuller who has helped me change my life completely,i have encouraged my friends to go thru the wonderful book and change their way of living,thinking.

This is a book full of time tested techniques for dealing with adversity.

If he had written the book today, I think that he would have focused more on the development of resilience. That concept was in its infancy when he was writing, but in fact many of the practical methods in the book form basic biulding blocks of this important personal attribute.

I have not finished the book yet, but found it with some great counsel for me personally as I believe it would affect most of the readers. There are some things with which I am not really impressed, but that's from my perspective. I'm certain other readers would disagree with my assessment. Worth the price.
