TOUGH TRUCK MANIA,

My son, who is 5, has mastered this game and can out do his Dad any day of the week. He loves messing up the trucks and fixing them up again. It is perfect for a kid that likes to tear things up. He is won most of the races and loves it. It is a bit harder for his 42 year old father. It just takes lots of practice and if a 5 year old can figure most of it out on his own, it can't be that hard.

I was kinda pumped about buying this at first, especially for $10, but I got a chance to check out a full demo and I noticed one thing missing....no trial test to get used to the game. I tried twice (and failed twice) to keep up with the first race. Both times I come in last place with a wrecked up truck and could not advance beyond that. If you like to be challenged, this game will DEFINITELY challenge you. The graphics are pretty good, as well as the sound/music, although it's a redneck game, if you don't mind...actually that's not what bothered me about this game. I was bummed because there's no chance to go out and try out a truck by yourself on a track. You just start racing and hope you can beat your opponents. You start out with just enough cash to pick up a single truck. After the first race, you're lucky if you don't come back with a wrecked hulk of a truck and no cash to do anything about it....nah, I think I'll skip this one!

Can't win one lap of first race...,

Even on the first race at the first level, one wreck and you can't win the first race, which means you can't get any money to fix the truck, which means you have to completely restart. No demo mode, no practice mode. Bad design, bad game, frustrating and getting rid of. More trouble than it's worth. My 9 year old and I both tried and neither could win even one lap of the first race.

I've got three son's age 11, 9 & 7. When my 11 year old brought this game home (a friend of his gave it to him), I thought big deal some goofy kid game. After watching the boys play it I saw how great the graphics and sounds were and how challenging it is to play. We all play it now and have a blast doing it. It is very challenging to advance to the next races but once you get the hang of it, it is possible. When you get good you will have enough cash to upgrade to a studly truck. Who want's to play a game they master in a few hours, this is challenging for all ages and is lots of fun.

Not a bad game for 10.00. Pretty hard actually for their age rating starting at 6. Don't spend more then 10.00 on this.

The game is average. But that is well to be expected considering I got such a great deal on it.
