In our search for tough faces we typed in tough. Daah - who would have thought of that.
So what comes up is 'hanging tough' buy the 'New Kids on the block'. Tough??? HA! Didn't the Red Hot Chili peppers havr them kids for breakfast? Enough said about them.
And this nice lad Craig. Oh boy this has not gotten the tough guy results we are seeking.

The characters in 'Once Upon a Time in the west' that's tough. Bronson, Fonda, Robarts - close ups coutesy of Leone. "An ancient race".

and it often plays unplugged versions of songs. song after song after song.

and this is where i get my occasional fill of decent country songs that most of the people who know me would shoot me if they knew i dug some of them cause that's -so- "not me".

but to some of them i'm slowly catching on.

anyway, Craig was singing tonight and I didn't get to hear the whole song. in fact i caught the very end. but it was enough to entice and bring me in. so i downloaded the song. impressions are as written:

nice lyrics. he's appreciating his wife and I think that's a pretty thing in life. his voice is somewhat common-sounding but nice all the same. he tells a story about how she's very good at what she does: dressing the kids for school, running to the bank, doing things with a smile. then he recalls when she had cancer wore a wig to church and holding her head high like things truly would be alright. he cried but she reassured him.

"there was a time before she was mine when i thought i was tough." he admits.
