Kruder at his best,

This review is from: Toujours Le Même Film... (Audio CD)
I'd never heard of Urbs before this release, I found this CD by way of Peter Kruder. Kruder (of Kruder and Dorfmeister stoned downtempo fame) is a production genius, and he's on top of his game here. Lush yet spare jazz-based progressions, and atmospheric live instrumentation weave in and out of the smoky soundscape Kruder fans have come to expect. Can't recommend this highly enough - like all good albums, it'll grow on you more and more after each repeated listen. This was the only CD I had with me on a 5 hour road trip from Las Vegas to Phoenix, it played over and over again, and I never got tired of it. Awesome, moody stuff.

Excellent!,
This review is from: Toujours le Meme Film (Audio CD)
I heard this album on my friend's system and got instantly mesmerized. It conveys a plethora of moods, backed with live instruments excellently intermingled with electronica and occasional, good voices. The overall mood is a bit dark, but the bright moments make the melodies fantastic. A must have for chillout, trip hop and downtempo aficionados familiar with good European music of the genre.

I like this album. I was directed here from pandora wanting to buy the song 'The Lord's dub'. The song from amazon does not match the song from pandora.
