Tour From Hell, July 12, 2001

I love this band....however this is a horrible recording. Sounds as if it were recorded with a portable cassette recorder.
In fact, the 'ol Commander himself states on his website that this was an unauthorized release of a demo tape and urges the buyer to beware. There are much better live recordings out there (We've Got A Live One Here is great)....avoid this one.

great selection and arrangements, November 29, 2001

I strongly disagree with the one star review. I too love the band, and there is much to enjoy on this disc. Excellent up-front piano and vocal blends for example. This is an order of magnitude better than "Deep in the Heart of Texas."
To be fair, I do have the Australian release. Cody repeats songs on albums, so to all but the afficiando, one or two albums is plenty. It may really be worth only four stars on the Cody scale, but I feel compelled to average out the above unfair review. As live Cody albums go, this kicks *it* both in song selection and arrangements.
