5.0 out of 5 stars Great Stroller, Great Price

3.0 out of 5 stars Easy to use, but too light on the harness
I bought this as an extra stroller to keep in my car. I wanted a lightweight, simple-to-operate stroller that I could use when I was running errands, etc. I bought it because it seemed to fit my needs and the price was right (considering I already owned other, more "heavy-duty" strollers).

It was very easy to use, was lightweight and easily fit in my trunk...

We love it though it does fold down, when we rent a compact car for car trips, the jeep liberty stroller does not fit easily into a small car, so we needed to find a collapsable smaller stroller-enter the kolcraft tour sport.

I bought kolcraft because they make the jeep liberty, and because it was cheap $35! having already bought a cheapy $20 stroller from zellers in canada (our target) it was horrible and made for someone who is 5ft tall, the handle bars do not go up very high. The kolcraft however is very comfortable to push (the handles are at least 5" higher) and easy to fold, and I would recommend it to anyone and may start giving it as a baby gift.

4.0 out of 5 stars Great lightweight stroller, May 14, 2008
This review is from: Tour Sport Reclining Umbrella Stroller - Red/Black (Baby Product)
I was sick of my bulky travel system stroller and had tried a couple of other strollers before keeping this one. My daughter was much more comfortable (thus cooperative) in this one! Easy to fold up. Pouch and cup holder are great. Color is good for stains and easy to spot clean. Folded up small enough to keep in my trunk all of the time. And I am tall, and my husband and I often had aching backs after pushing other strollers. Not this one. Only issues I have with it...my daughter always would push down on the foot strap and stop the wheels once she got taller. Now that we have had this for a few years, the cup holder pops off in my trunk all of the time, and then it's not there when I need it. You also have to remove the sun shade in order to fold it. So I just always kept it in my trunk and put it on if I knew we would be outside for a while. We are very happy with this stroller.

3.0 out of 5 stars Easy to use, but too light on the harness, June 18, 2010

It was very easy to use, was lightweight and easily fit in my trunk. The real problem was that the harness was just a belt around my son's waist (and through his legs). It did not provide the type of restraint needed for my 16-month old wiggleworm! If your child is less energetic/curious than mine, it might be OK, but unfortunately I'm going to need to buy a different stroller with a 5-point harness.

5.0 out of 5 stars good for an umbrella with features, September 23, 2007

This review is from: Tour Sport Reclining Umbrella Stroller - Red/Black (Baby Product)
I needed an umbrella stroller that was durable, lightweight and very compact, but i also needed a few features such as a canopy/sunshade and a bag or basket to hold a few things. I got what I was looking for in this stroller. It also comes with a few features that i wasn't looking for, but are nice to have: it has a cupholder and it reclines. it was easy and quick to assemble out of the box and shipped really fast. the only warning i would give is that the back rest may be a little short for some children. i have a 14-month old who is very small for his age (5th percentile) so he is ok with the height of the back, but i can see how other children might be a little too tall.

I had been looking for a lightweight, compact stroller with very specific requirements and price range. I thought all could not be met until I found this stroller. First of all, I ordered it on a Wednesday and received it by Friday without requesting express delivery. It has a great recline feature for naps, an adjustable and removable sun shade, a storage pocket on the back, and a cup holder for the unbeatable price of $40. It folds compactly for transport in the car and my daughter has plenty of room to grow for long-term use. I would highly recommend this stroller to anyone!

2.0 out of 5 stars I really wanted to like this stroller, but 3 point harness? No way., June 15, 2010

I ordered this stroller because of the reviews saying that taller people could use it well. The price was right, the color was right. I was really excited.

The minute that I put my 19-month-old into it, I was really unimpressed with the harness. It was so cheap. It also barely fit him without falling out.

Then we went rolling. He totally got out of the straps.

Maybe this would work for younger babies, but not for toddlers.

We got a high end stroller but it didn't collapse easily or fit in the storage area of the daycare so we broke down and got this stroller. After now using it almost every day for a few weeks, I can say that I have no regrets. It's well priced, can handle bumpy city sidewalks, and is a decent height with good handles so it doesn't break your back hunching over.

I only use this for travel as you need an umbrella type stroller for airplanes carry-on and we travel across the country twice a year. It works well, way better than the cheap one I had from target anyway first that broke on the trip. I like that the handles are higher so you can push without bending over but it is hard to open and close it, you need two free hands to do so and with 3 kids traveling alone this is very challenging so I have to rely on help from the airline staff to manage it. Otherwise nice product.

5.0 out of 5 stars Wish I bought it sooner!, September 9, 2008
This review is from: Tour Sport Reclining Umbrella Stroller - Red/Black (Baby Product)
My son and I love this stroller! It's so much easier to navigate than the travel system. It's lightweight and sturdy, very easy to assemble (you pop on the wheels and the sunshade!), comes with a nifty removable cup holder, and the padded backrest reclines to about a 45-50 degree angle. The part I love the most (besides all the fore mentioned!) is the adjustable sun canopy! Love it! As we all know, the sun doesn't always shine upon the top of our heads, so when I push him facing the sunlight, I can easily adjust the canopy to shade his face, it's wonderful! The only problem I have is that the backrest is a little short as the other reviews have also stated. My son is only 3 months old and his head is almost to the top of the backrest. Closing the stroller is a breeze- there's a lever which you push to the left and then push up and the stroller folds down. The backrest has to be in the up position in order to close the stroller and the canopy, if not removed, will pop off on its own. I highly recommend this stroller if you're looking for a great umbrella stroller with great features.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Upgrade on Umbrella Strollers, May 21, 2008
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Tour Sport Reclining Umbrella Stroller - Red/Black (Baby Product)
LOVE this stroller so far! And it is very reasonably priced (at least where I got it :-) I paid about $35 for this stroller through Amazon, but saw it elsewhere for anywhere up to $90. It is MUCH BETTER than a classic twenty dollar umbrella stroller. It is sturdy, navigates well and is compact. It has a small basket, cup holder and small sun shield. The wheels are even lumbar. I was at the mall just the other day with SIL and for a few minutes I had to push both children's strollers at same time. My SIL's stroller was akward and the wheels did not rotate well at all. THis stroller moved wonderfully and made me realize that you get what you pay for! I would recommend this stroller to anyone!!!!!!
