Best little book to carry on your bike,

This is fantastic little pocket carryall book for cycling San Juan, Gulf and Vancouver Islands. Small, 3-D maps, elevation gain, mileage. They just dont make them anymore,I could not find it to buy in USA since they are out of print, so I checked out of Library. Now I have found it on-line...

Nice for open-ended bike-touring itineraries in the Islands,

With the popularities of touring in the islands by bike (I know many people who do it) I'm surprised there aren't current in-print guides like this that cover distances & topography and relevant information like that, for all the islands on both sides of the border. ESPECIALLY because this book is slim and lightweight-which is what you want for bike touring. I bought (and sold) a stack of books when I was preparing for our Gulf Islands and San Juans tour, but this was the only one I kept for future reference.
