I'd very much like to review this book!, May 2, 2006
This review is from: Tourmalin's Time Cheques (Greenhill Science Fiction & Fantasy) (Hardcover)
I give this item 2 stars, because by most accounts it's the earliest novel dealing with paradox in time travel... published in 1881... that's 14 years before H.G. Wells The Time Machine!
Admittedly, I've not read this... But perhaps that's because it seems difficult to find recent copies. $85 for a used 19th century copy seems a little steep!
If anyone knows of anyone publishing this book presently, or perhaps where to get a copy for less than $40, then leave a review.
There's a short listing - one collection of works - on project gutenberg, but as of yet, there doesn't appear to be a copy of F. Anstey's ( a.k.a. Thomas Anstey Guthrie ) Tourmalin's Time Cheques ( a.k.a. The Time Bargain )
