Cool. Right from the first note this is working. The recording and production are excellent. The mood and instrumentation are superb. I like the guitar, piano and the horn work especially.

There is beautiful jazz is at hand when listening to this gem of a Smooth Jazz project, and it's just the thing for the first cup of coffee or the last brandy. The rhythm section lays it down soft and sweet, giving the keyboards all the room you could ask for to define and elaborate the changes, big fat keys, great sound. The sax is the perfect compliment, well played and not at all outside the changes, getting just complicated enough at the end of the tune to give a bit more impact. Nothing here to jangle the nerves, smooth and easy.

The wonderful melodic variety provided by the piano and great interludes that are soft but sultry from the saxophone. The bass-line is also amazing just for the fact that it knows when it's pertinent to add itself and when not to. The drums are just perfect in keeping the tempo with the other blend of instruments provided.

All in all. Great stuff!

I was fortunate enough to spend the last week working with Greg at RMVJC. From the moment I heard "Voice Dance" (not on this album), I knew this guy was good. I got to sing one of his songs under his direction, and that inspired me to buy this album from him.

It's a great piece of musical talent. His compositions are brilliant and "Child" is sweet and beautiful. Jasperse is a genius and this album shows off his talent brilliantly. Everybody should buy this. Seriously.

I listened to this with my parents when were driving. My favorite is Joy Ride. I want to play piano like this someday. I am going to practice so that i can make a cd lik this. Sarah
