I feel like I may have missed so much trying to get through the book the first read that I am re-reading it again now.

Interesting take. I would recommend. Left me thinking about my own take on my own Catholic religion. I think there's room for everyone to enjoy this book.

Toussaint's Blue Water envelopes you from the beginning. Pep Noggle's story has it's way with you. The small town characters are rich with experience but we soon learn they are tested with unfamiliar changes. Provocative and articulate with it's words and when you finish, the text lingers in your memory. Very well done.

This is a fascinating, insightful book. I read it in less than 2 days because I couldn't put it down. It left me with something to think about and I've already got my mom reading it. Worth much more than the $10 I paid for it!

Pep Noggle writes with a rich poetic language, truly capturing the essence of tight-knit, small town camaraderie, and the voice of the heroes within. I really enjoyed this book. A nice debut for the author. Well done!

I bought this book online based on a friend's recommendation. As a non-Christian, I read the Amazon synopsis and was not sure it would really have the same significance for me. I started the book on a business trip flight and had it finished before we touched down. The story is so gripping with a truly amazing perspective by the author. The use of imagery alone is enough to keep you spellbound, but the depth of symbolism for each character is the true reward. The book outlines a message and principles that resonate with people of all faiths. I don't remember feeling so enriched after completing a work of fiction. Looking forward to more from the Pep Noggle!

Pep Noggle's story is a quick and reflective read. The setting is a small town in northern Ohio about ten miles southeast of Toledo. The plot has a clear direction; Noggle's perspective on life, death, and "life after death" really kicks in the last one third of the book. The book reads like a long short story and many of the passages are worth copying down and recalling when we take the time to contemplate life, our lives, and our final days. Your next flight out of town take Toussaint's Blue Water along, you will have it finished before landing at your destination.

This is an amazing read! The writing is poetic, descriptive, and filled with substance. The characters, as well as the messages, are inspiring. The feelings of fear, uncertainty, camaraderie, faith, and courage are universal, and I was consistently impressed by the way these were handled throughout the book. Pep takes on the exciting, Armageddon-scale events to emphasize the everyday lessons, and I definitely enjoyed the ride. I highly recommend it!
