2.0 out of 5 stars Potential Wasted, January 12, 2010
This review is from: Count Toussaint's Pregnant Mistress (Modern Romance) (Paperback)
This started out as a great love story. 2 strangers who felt a powerful attraction across a concert hall and then meet by chance (and fate) that same night. However the hero spends his time running away from commitment because he doesn't want to "hurt anyone", and naturally repeatedly hurts the heroine. While he offers financial support, he doesn't even marry the heroine to make the baby legitimate while he states in the dialog that only legitimate heirs can inherit his estate. Even when he finally admits that he loves the heroine, there is no mention of marriage, even in the epilogue. I loved the heroine, but the hero is a selfish coward with no sense of honour.
