I like the shape. I like the handles. I like that it is sturdy. I like the size, although was disappointed it wasn't quite as big as my old strainer that could easily handle two boxes of pasta - this holds about 1 1/2 boxes. It drains everything quite well (nice large holes, but the design keeps solid objects inside). The color is also quite nice.
One note is that it does sit low to the surface it is on. While the bottom part appears that it would raise it off the surface, it curves on the inside to skim the surface, and not really rise above it much at all.

Very Handy,

This colander is great for rinsing pretty much anything: veggies, berries, salad greens. It has also been successful in draining larger pastas. The holes are not very small so smaller pastas like orzo would probably fall right through.
Overall the colander is very durable and the best thing is it won't ever rust like the metal colanders do.

For some reason, I thought that maybe this colander was a flexible, folding rubber/plastic, but fortunately this wasn't the case!
On pulling it out of the box, I was surprised and impressed with the whole-colander look of it, with all the drainage holes, the color, and the feel. It has a good weight, supported nicely by the handles. And especially, it has enough of a diameter to really be functional for draining all usual things in the kitchen. I hope it's indestructible, as it "sounds" a little fragile on knocking the counter with it, almost like knocking a glass, but it's supposed to be an awesome kind of plastic, so what else would you need in a colander?! 2115|R3UTI9X29HO6ZA;2115|R8CCDRUR24KQU;2115|RWGOG47N8JD9O;
