Love this spoon! Easy to clean as almost nothing sticks to it and it won't absorb water like a wooden spoon, so it's easier to sanitize and it's dishwasher safe :)

Also, the edge acts like a squeegee which is perfect when you're trying to get that last bit of sauce out of a pan-- a nice feature previously unknown to me :)

I should note that the handle is, in fact, conductive of heat and can get uncomfortably warm if left in the wrong area on the stove. Given that the handle *is* metal, this should be a no-brainer. That said, I should clarify that heat does not transfer at all through the silicone end of the spoon.

I plan on replacing all my spoons with these :)

I finally found a great spoon to use with non-stick cookware. It works like the old wooden spoons did --- but a lot easier to clean & you can put it in the dishwasher. It stirs heavy stiff foods just as easily as light fluffy things. It doesn't bend like a lot of plastic spoons. It's heat proof so I don't have to worry about it melting. I have thrown out all my other "plastic" spoons. They were worthless. Give this one a try -- you won't be sorry.

These spoons are great for mixing, stirring, scooping... I used to use wooden spoons in the kitchen but have replaced them all with these spoons - in all 4 colors!

Although I enjoyed using this spoon in the beginning, at the ripe old age of 6 months the silicone edge cracked numerous times, making them now useless. The cracks gathered numerous bits of food in them (not to mention bacteria) before I discovered them which I'm sure wasn't healthy! These spoons are for show, but not for use. They simply don't last.

I own both the solid in the blue as well as the pink, and also have the slotted spoon. They are very well made and have extra long handles to stir in your biggest pots. Great staple for any kitchen.

Paired with the Tovolo 14" slotted spoon, these are kitchen essentials. These are stainless throughout, with the spoon head silicone-coated. These are of excellent quality, with good balance. The brushed stainless handles are flat-oval, easy to hold and will fit into a crock/jar on the counter with your other kitchen utensils. These hold up under high-heat cooking and are dishwasher safe in the upper basket. These are well worth the price.

I have an array of stainless steel, bamboo, melamine, and vinyl spoons and spatulas in my drawer and when this one's clean, it is the one I *always* grab for first. I mix with it. I cook on the stove with it, and it always works well. Never a worry whether or not my non-stick will be damaged yet still heavy and sturdy enough that it stands up to my stainless and cast iron cookware.. I bought this at the same time I bought a Tovolo rubber spatula which began to flake off chunks of silicone almost immediately. I almost returned them both thinking that this one would probably be falling apart very soon as well, but I'm glad I only returned the spatula. This thing is really holding up well and it gets used a LOT.

This is a very useful tool, food does not stick and will not scar bowls. I would like one that is slightly smaller. This has replaced my wooden spoons (no salmonela in the cracks and can put in dishwasher).

I've had this spoon for about 6 years, and gave a few as Christmas gifts this year. My spoon still looks like new, even though I use it all the time and always put it in the dishwasher. It is heavier than most spoons, which I like. This is my favorite mixing spoon, and the silicone makes it kind of non-stick for batters. When I bought it, I wondered if the silicone part might start to pull away from the metal handle after time, but it has not done that at all. Good quality, definitely recommend.

I bought one of these spoons at a discount store and liked it so much I went looking for it to buy for my sister and niece. It is a heat resistant silicone that can stand up to 600 degrees, so if you dip it in the hottest pot, you are likely safe. Plus it is a sturdy steel shaft that can handle a heavy pot for stiring. I have found it quite useful in my cooking.
