This colander has holes all over so that there are no puddles of water in any corners. Great compared to the rest that I bought.

I was online researching stainless steel colanders because I wanted one that won't leach chemicals into my food. Well, it appears that not all "stainless steel" products are not created equal. If you read the "Product Details" section on the Amazon website, this particular brand (Tovolo) comes with a "toxicity warning", as mandated by the state of California in Proposition 65 (see Prop 65 note below). In other words, whatever goes into making this colander is a known carcinogen/toxin. This was not true for the rest of the pricier brands I checked. See for yourself. I wound up going with a more expensive colander without the warning because: (A) I don't want cacner or cancer-causing compounds constantly leaching into my food; and (B) I don't want to encourage shoddy, harmful manufacturing processes. Somewhere this little colander is produced in a plant that is spewing these toxins into the environment as the colanders manufactured. No thanks.

Just what I needed. Easy to store because of its size. Always preferred stainless and this strainer does the job.

This small colander is perfect for rinsing fruit and vegetables and draining small servings of pasta. Only one complaint keeps it from getting 5 stars, the base of the colander is a solid stainless steel stand. If you put this in the sink right over the drain, it fits snugly enough to prevent the water from draining. Not a big deal, all you have to do is move it to the side a little bit and problem is solved.

It is smaller than I thought, and a little too pricey for the size since the quality is nothing to brag about. I am sure the base will separate from the bowl over time. Also, shipping was a mess!!! Amazon disappointed me this time around.

I bought these as replacements for old tupperware colanders. I bought 2 sizes and they work great and are easy to clean. When I needed a steamer to prepare a dish at Christmas, I just had one of these do double duty inside a pan. Worked great.

i purchased three of these (small.medium.large) to replace my set of plastic colanders. the construction is solid and feels very durable. i am very happy with my purchase.

Sadly I missed the SIZE! This is a small colander .. shame on me! Design is great - no complaints

The Tovolo stainless steel perforated colanders are a great purchase. I ordered all three sizes and find that they accommodate all of my cooking needs. The construction seems to be top notch, and the styling will match most kitchen.
