These were bought to replace corn holders that were about 15 years old. I thought they would be kinda fitting to go with sweet corn. They work great except for the one thing, on the small end of the ear the cob holders are way to big. You can't get it screw'd in all the way, so your stuck with the about 3/4ths of the screw out and half the nail as well. Other than that they seem to work fine and even with the small half stuck out you still no problems holding the ear of corn with them.
