Editorial Reviews

The residents of Tower Block 31 are terrified after witnessing the brutal murder of a young man. The case is left unsolved, due in large part to their collective silence. A year later, with their building marked for demolition, the witnesses begin to find themselves picked off one by one by a mysterious sniper out for justice. Pitted against not only the sniper’s deadly traps, but also each other, the residents must figure out a way to escape their own building…or die trying.

Featuring critically hailed performances by Jack O’Connell (300: Rise Of An Empire) and Sheridan Smith (Quartet) and co-starring Ralph Brown (Stoker), and Russell Tovey (BBC’s Being Human), Tower Block is a pulse-pounding thriller that delivers gritty action and relentless suspense!

4.0 out of 5 stars Great little suspense thriller August 3, 2013
Format:Blu-ray|Verified Purchase
I saw this when it showed at Fantastic Fest in 2012, and it's a great, simple, and unique thriller. If you're in the mood to watch terrible things happen to varying levels of terrible people, this is the movie for you!

4.0 out of 5 stars A solid thriller.. May 6, 2014

A well acted, suspenseful film about a group of apartment dwellers under seige by an unknown sniper. Unknown that is until the end. An outstanding performance by Jack O'Connell.

I had a bit of trouble understanding some of the dialog due to the heavy accents. Unfortunatly, the DVD was missing the subtitle option which would have helped.

Very good film overall.

Was a mystery to try and figure out who the "bad" guy was who was responsible for a lot of pain and death. Not for the faint of heart. Twist at the end which I didn't see coming. Enjoyed the film. It is English, so dialogue can be difficult at times.

4.0 out of 5 stars Good suspense thriller, but a lot of plot holes September 10, 2013
Format:DVD|Verified Purchase
It takes about 15 minutes for this thing to get going, but once the sniper started picking off people through their living room windows, i was hooked. Taken on that level, this is a good movie. But once the identity of the sniper is revealed, i started asking a lot of questions and there aren't any answers that make sense. It would almost have been better if they had never told us the identity of the bad guy, and had him disappear into the night. If you can get past that, you'll like this movie.

5.0 out of 5 stars Brilliant! July 31, 2013
Format:DVD
I live in the uk, so I can fully understand what they are saying. I don't normally like British films which is ironic seen as though I am British. I read a review by Richard P. Thorne on here he said he couldn't understand the accent but that's what people who live in council estate talk like in the uk and he said the region 1 copy of the DVD doesn't have subtitles but if you get the uk DVD copy of it (region 2) then you get subtitles and a behind the scene featurette. I most say tower block is the best British film I have ever seen. I would defintly recommended this film.
