This Luxor flatware set is absolutely stunning. I love the shape. I had a flat stlye handle for 10 years and every peice was bulky..I finally got irritated enough to purchase this set. I wondered if the triangular shape of the handles would be an issue because it was so opposite of my Onieda set I had for years..I risked the purchase and I am so delighted with my choice..should have done it sooooooner! The shape of the spoons and forks..are well..simply perfect as well. I wanted to write this review because I read the first one and was shocked that someone would think this set was uncomfortable to hold. My experience is quite the contrary. My son and husband love using this set much better as well..so,..I love the towle luxor. Simply perfect in all ways.

This silverware set is not only beautiful to look at but it washes up wonderfully in the dishwasher. Unlike a previous reviewer, I have found this silverware to be very comfortable to hold. The handles are not hollow and feel great in your hand. As for the shape, they should have been able to clearly see that when purchasing. It has very clean, simple lines and looks awesome with my Fiestaware and also with my fine china. I purchased 2 sets and will be purchasing a 3rd set as well. If you're looking for a modern style silverware set, this is the one for you!

This flatware looks nice in the box, but I dislike the shape so much that I bought new flatware 2 weeks after purchasing this. The long part that you handle (the handle, I guess?) is a rounded triangular shape, so that the top is flat but the bottom is sort of pointy. It is very uncomfortable to hold!

I love this set so much that I purchased a second one from Amazon (wish later I knew that on Overstock.com it is even cheaper). Had first set for couple years, durable modern stylish looking, what else can I say. And yes it is VERY comfortable in my hand (I am a male with average hand). Heavy end with smooth triangular shape is a perfect balance for the whole part. I cannot be happier with this set - highly recommend.
