Jeremy Creek is a spoiled little boy who never thinks of anyone but himself: greed is his prime motivating force, and no tactic is too dirty to get him what he wants. Imagine his disgust when a selfish deed is misinterpreted by Santa Claus himself and ends up bringing joy to an entire town of previously forgotten children. Even more surprising is the way this "good" deed begins to make Jeremy feel deep inside. Can one small act change a little boy's whole outlook on life? Following this 20-minute cartoon is a Wacky Racers episode in which Dick Dastardly and his dog Muttsley are up to their normal dirty tricks in an effort to be the first racers across the finish line. Then it's an episode of Cartoon Network's Pfish and Chip. This unlikely duo, a cat and a shark, comprises the bomb squad that's trying to stop the Mad Bomber from blowing up everything in sight. Between the bomb squad's ineptitude and their boss's penchant for sleeping on the job, little is safe from the Mad Bomber's exploits. The laughs, however, are plentiful. (Ages 8 to 12.) --Tami Horiuchi

3.0 out of 5 stars Great Cartoon for those selfish children who want it all, December 21, 1998
By A Customer
This review is from: The Town That Santa Forgot - Cartoon Network [VHS] (VHS Tape)
I really thought this cartoon had a nice message, especially since we are experiencing problems with our children who think they need more and never seem to be satisfied. I am definetly going to buy the video so we can review it when we are feeling selfish again.

I saw this cartoon the other day on Cartoon Network. I thought it was wonderful! I can see this cartoon becoming the next holiday classic.

4.0 out of 5 stars Great to Watch, November 12, 2002

This special was on TV and I watched it, and it was better than I expected! The character (Jeremy) is a selfish spoiled little boy (hmmm remind you of any kids you know today?!) who only thinks about himself and the next toy he can get. Its perfect to watch with any kids who are a little too focused on the gift aspect of christmas, or even if you yourself feel like you just want everything for christmas. Its also narrated by someone famous (Im forget who, maybe Dick Van Dyke...) Its funny and the goes at a fairly fast pace (for kids with short attention spans) I would love it if the Cartoon Network would release this and some other Xmas Specials on DVD.
