Lloyd Kaufman is one of my favorite authors and filmmakers.Thank you for selling this excellent novel.The Toxic Avenger,The Novel is fabulous;it is as true as "A Million Little Pieces" and even funnier than "Lord Jim."

Since Troma first unleashed Toxie into the world, he's been the most unique, out-there hero you'll ever find - but also the most relatable. He's the average underdog we all idenitfy with and root for while marveling at his all his...well, toxic avenging.
This novel is a Toxie fan's wish come true. It offers everything we know and love about the hero and then some! In true Troma style, we delve into the muck of the Toxie experience, and how joyous it is! (Honestly, who DOESN'T want to know the grapic details of his sex life?)
Whether you're an old school Toxic Avenger fan or new on the scene, you'll enjoy the hell out of this book! A great read!

i'm a 15 year old kid in highschool and i just wanna say, if it was'nt for this book i would'nt be reading, this was the first book i ever fully read. it is amazing, it has inspired me to write a book and has made me realize that not all books are boring wastes of papper, LONG LIVE TROMA

dont miss this book! for any fan of anything troma this is fantastic. anyone who is a fan of the toxic avenger this is your book. buy a copy! this does not disapoint. just as great and goofy as the movie. for non fans or those who dont know this is a great introduction to bring you on board and leave you wanting more of anything that troma films puts out. this book will make you a fan just as seeing the movie toxic avenger did me many years ago.

Everyone should read this book. If you like horror, comedy, romance, westerns, it doesn't matter what you like because you'll LOVE this book. You'll Laugh. You'll Cry. You'll decide to join a Troma Cult. And who would blame you? After reading this book everyone else will be in the Troma Cult with you!

This is a great re-telling of a story. They didn't just cash in on hype and release a book to buy too like Star Wars or any other movie does. In fact, this one comes 20 years after the movie was made. The book first starts off talking about the evil marketing of movie novelizations, and explains that this is not just the text version of the movie, its the unlimited-budget version Hollywood would never make. They've toyed with doing a big budget version before, but that would result in Troma being sellouts and they know that, and they'll never have the money to do it themself. Hollywood would water the story down, get rid of the creator himself, and just piss off the fans. Most of what I'm saying is rephrasing from the first part of the book, but check it out, its hilarious, full of relevant social commentary (for real, just as south park is but a different flavor), and is just a great read. Even if you've seen the movie, you've only seen what they could afford to make into a movie. This is the real, whole story (thought of 20 years after it was filmed).

This book is the most hilarious thing I have read in years. Kaufman and Jahnke have done a brilliant job in creating an extremely entertaining narrative starring the greatest superhero EVER.

Leave to Lloyd Kaufman to release the 'novelization' of The Toxic Avenger over 25 years after the movies releasE, but, if you're a fan of Toxie, Troma or Lloyd, this is a MUST OWN book! Just the fact that purchasing the book supports the fine people at Troma, the book is a great novel, riddled with the sense of humor that Lloyd is famous for, and that alone is worth the price of admission!!!

If you haven't already, or if you're thinking about it, BUY THE BOOK, you won't regret it!!!

If you enjoyed The Toxic Avenger as a teen, you'll relish this new narrative with all it's Troma-esque wit and wackiness. True to the spirit of the original, it's an entertaining read, whether as bedtime fare or bathroom fodder (pun intended). When you're through, you'll be craving a trip to your local nuclear waste site! And be sure to read Make Your Own Damn Movie, too. Hey this is a great book. When I was done for some reason I yelled the title of the review, ...except I completed the thought. Don't know why either. Guess after reading Llyod's Make Your Own Damn Movie, it just comes out of me automatically now. Really the book brought out a lot of emotion, so maybe thats why I yell out to Kaufman, the way some people say Jesus Christ!. It's a good name to take in vein, Kaufman. Say Kaufman! It's got that hard biting K sound along with a pretty good M & N sound. How's that Lloyd, does this help? Now go watch my short in ifilm dammit! Minx Labrada's Untamed Forest.
