Each book is getting increasingly frustrating. The storyline would be much easier to follow if the author didn't feel the need to bulk up the word count with over the top descriptions by using every adjective in the english language.
'necrotic blue fog'- What the hell is that?
Stop standing back and admiring your ability to throw words together and get on with the damn story.

I like the series but I must say that all the sex talk and very little story line it is getting pretty old. It is really only a half a book if you would get rid of all the unnecessary sex talk (thoughts). Please just get on with the story.

Highly disappointed in this book. There just does not seem to be accurate words to describe how much Addison's writing style has changed. I felt very lost at times during this book. I have to admit that I did not finish. =( I made it to 67% and gave up.

The book is all over the place, and hard to follow. I think she really tried to take the series to a new level, but unfortunately she failed for me. I also think due to all that goes on with the series, her spacing the books out so far, is a hindrance for the reader. So sorry Addison, but you dropped the ball this time, I have no desire to finish the series. I also have to agree with another review, lots of loose ends to tie up.

TOXIC Part One (Celestra Series #7) by Addison Moore

TOXIC is the next to last instalment in Addison Moore's Celestra series. I am not sure where to begin. I have both enjoyed and been disheartened by this series. The premise is interesting-a young girl who would be the savior in a centuries old war between good and evil, but apparently no one is willing to tell her what she is to do or how to do it. So, along the way she comes up against impossible odds, and throws everyone into a war that the Celestra are quickly losing. Without guidance, Skyla flounders in what can only be described as `teens gone wild' movie premise, as she tries to convince the others they have the wrong girl.

Skyla Messenger is back in the 7th storyline along with the entire cast of Counts, Fems, Celestra, mean girls and love starved teens and yet the storyline doesn't really progress any further along than the previous book. Skyla is still in love with Gage, Logan and Marshall, and they too, are in love with her. The angst of this particular love nest is pushing my proverbial button. I am not sure how Addison will be able to justify the eventual pairing because throughout the series each love interest has either tried to kill, killed or hurt the object of their affection more than once. As the dueling cousins, Gage and Logan are at the top of the love food chain, but each has hurt Skyla with their twisted attempts to both save and guard the young woman who is destined to rule the Celestra kingdom. And Marshall, although appearing to be a pervy old man, comes across as her knight in shining armor albeit with an ulterior motive. And I am not sure whether his motives are necessarily altruistic or something else.

Addison Moore is a literary genius! She has done it again with Toxic and her mastermind plan to release Ephemeral before book 7 of her Celestra series. I didn't sleep for two days to finish this book in record time. It really is that addicting, you won't be able to shut your eyes. I was so thankful to be back in Skyla's world, but now I'm left desperately anticipating part two!

Fortunately, Addison understands how obsessed her fans are and has decided to keep writing about our favorite characters in a whole new series! Hands down, she is my favorite author and I would recommend her to any and everyone.

If you haven't read this series yet, start it now! But be warned, your life will be abducted by Moore's brilliant imagination.

This is just book 6 all over again. Does this author not have someone read her reviews that will tell her what she so totally messed up in a previous book? This was nothing but Skyla whining and bemoaning everything. I am so sick of her obsession with whichever guy she is with at th moment. She takes the saying Love the one you are with to a whole new level. One book left and we have 3 marriages a birth and a faction war to get through. I don't see how unless Skyla finally stops all her whining. Of course, I expect her to con someone into doing everything for her. It's how this whiny, selfish, lazy girl rolls.

I am so caught up in this series that I find myself waiting to see what Skyla and her entourage are up to all the time. It is almost like finding your best friends' diary and have been allowed access to the most intimate aspects of her life....but her life before you full of characters you don't know in life, but have become so ingrained into your life that you find yourself literally seeing/feeling/smelling/partaking in their activities. I am glad that I found this series and was able to read from start to finish without wait, but I am actually sad that I am starting the final book. Hopefully, Ms. Moore can find a way to keep the adventures of this group going somehow. It would be interesting to have a prequel where Skyla's mother and father came to be together and a series based on the same group but during Chloe's days, before Skyla's arrival. Please, Ms. Moore, feed us more Logan, Gage, Marshall....even the bitch squad! Eagerly awaiting more....and oh how I will miss my new friends in Paragon.
