Anyone considering breast implant surgery should read this book. Unfortunately, I did not do my research before participating in a research trial in 2005. I had the silicone implant surgery and became deathly ill for nearly a year. I had saline implants for 10 years prior to my silicone implants and have them again following the explantation of the silicone implants nearly two years ago. I am not anti-implant, just pro-health. Saline implants are not inferior to silicone. Sadly, I am a veteran regarding this issue. The author is correct about the manipulated data results (published by the implant manufacturers) submitted to the FDA, the corrupt members of the FDA, doctors on the take, and thousands of women injured every day as a result of silicone implants. Google "Diana Zuckerman and silicone breast implants". When you do your reseach, dig much deeper than the ads from plastic surgeons and implant manufacturers trying to paint a "Cinderella" story. Be smart, choose wisely and read this book- you'll be better-informed and will know the right sites to research and which questions to ask!
