Toy Story 3 Rex the Dinosaur

I got this toy for my 2 year old son's B-day and both he and my 3 year old daughter love it (they are both Toy Story obsessed right now).

The toy looks EXACTLY like Rex from the movie, is super sturdy (my daughter tried to ride him the day we got him, so no, I'm not kidding) and is made out of a semi-flexible rubber-like plastic that makes him stand up to a lot of punishment without losing his form. And the best part is that he doesn't roar, so therefore, no batteries need to be replaced every two months.

His tail does have to be attached and yes, it will come off if a child twists it around the right way, but there's no sharp edges to worry about and the tail attaches right back on without issues. I guess if you are too worried about the tail coming off you could just glue it on, but I wasn't too worried about it.

I'm very very glad I got this toy and would recommend it to anyone looking for a sturdy toy that their children can actually play with.

My kid loves this Rex & has had so much fun playing with it. It is very durable because my kid is rough on things & this is one tough dinosaur. If your kid loves toy story or t-rex in general, they would love Rex!

I selected this Rex for my son mainly because I did not want anymore toys in the house making loud noises. When it arrived and he opened it, I was dismayed to see that Rex's tail is not connected. I don't remember seeing it ever come off in Toy Story 1 or 2 and I have watched those a few hundred times! The detachable tail does not bother any of my kids, but it bothers me (mainly because I rarely see it attached to Rex). I think that the tail should snap on a little more securely than it does, but that's my opinion.
Also, the description states that you can pose him. Not true. When I imagined "pose" I figured once he was posed, he would stay. There is really nothing to pose.
So that is why I am giving this toy only 3 stars. If you don't mind the tail coming off and the fact that you can't do much with Rex then, by all means, buy it. But for over $20, I figured Rex would do something more than be another toy cluttering the house!

I bought this for my son for christmas!! I wrapped up the toy not even thinking to look at the dinosaurs eyes!!! Christmas morning, my son opened up his big rex that he couldn't wait to have and said Why is rex's eyes closed,,:( turns out the eyes weren't painted on! i've contacted the seller but alas NO ANSWER!!!

Hoping this could be an easy fix as i am thoroughly disappointed!!!

Holy crap. This thing is legit. I feel like someone literally went into the Toy Story universe, stole this toy from *SPOILER* that little girl at the end, and then FedEx'd it to me. I was sitting around the other day eating Pop Tarts and drinking Propel when I realized, "I'm an adult and I can buy whatever I want." Naturally what I wanted was Rex from Toy Story 1, 2, AND 3! This isn't like the RC Car character or Miss Bo Peep. This dude made it through ALL the movies, and now he's sitting by my side sipping some grape Propel and munchin' on some Wild Berry Pop Tarts. I was disappointed to find Andy's name not on the bottom of his foot, but ain't nothing a little sharpie can't fix.

That is CANON! I'd be mad if it didn't come off when I rode it like a miniature horse (which I did, almost immediately).

My son has begged for this toy, and I have it put up for Christmas. I don't think it is very educational except for imaginary play. He really seems to love it though, and he puts money in his piggy bank to buy one.

We ordered this product for our son for his birthday. When it arrived, Rex had no eyes! It was solid green. Who would actually ship this out to a customer? When we went online to exchange it for another one, that was not an option. Return for a refund was it. I am very disappointed that the product would be sent out in that condition to begin with, but then I am also inconvenienced with having to deal with returning it. We ended up driving an hour to a Toys R Us and purchasing it so we could have it in time for our son's birthday party.

My 3 year old daughter is hooked on Toy Story so we ordered this T Rex. It's a great size and pretty durable. It arrives with the tail separate and its a simple push to connect it. My daughter isn't too rough with her toys so I can't speak as to how durable it would be with rough play. A little boy down the street threw it against the wall pretty hard and the tail popped off but was easily popped back on. Head swivels and arms and legs move. It doesn't make noises, no buttons or strings allowing for the imagination to take over. Great buy for anyone, love it!

So not only did I buy Rex, but the Collection Woody and Buzz! And to be honest....my 2 year old son plays with Rex more. His favorite is Buzz, but I think he likes the fact that it does not say one thing! It's his favorite Dinosaur! Great Quality! The only thing that I really don't like is the fact the tail comes off
