My 5-year old daughter received this from Santa Claus and she has played with it non-stop. Jessie is made well. My daughter's only complaint is that her hat falls off a lot. Although several people have complained about Jessie not having real hair rather than plastic, my daughter has not complained about that. And she is a girl who loves to play with a doll's hair. I am glad it does not have real hair since all of my daughter's other well-loved dolls have matted hair since she plays with them so much. Now, I won't have to worry about it with this doll since she has plastic hair.

I was very impressed by the condition of the boxes. Sometimes when I order from other websites the package doesn't come in perfect condition, but this one was. I didn't know what to expect since you can not find Jessie dolls in any stores, this Jessie doll is absolutely beutiful. My daughter loves the fact that it talks and has a pull string that works. I would recomend this Jessie doll over any other that's out there, it looks just like the movie.

Okay, so not that extreme (this isn't a Firby or anything like that) but the truth remains that this doll doesn't stop talking. My daughter is obsessed with `Toy Story'. She watches it all the time and is constantly asking when she's going to see the new one at the movies. Her favorite character is Jessie (of course, for she is the most obnoxious character in the series) and so she had to have a Jessie doll, and what better version than the one that actually TALKS?!?!?! So, my wife and I found this doll for our little muffin and she attached herself to it and refuses to ever put it down.

Sadly, she is not allowed to sleep with Jessie.

The reason for this is that Jessie doesn't merely talk when her string is pulled. Jessie talks when something touches her. When you squeeze her tummy, when you rub her string, when you sit her down, when you drop her, when you roll on her. JESSIE NEVER STOPS TALKING! This is a problem for a sleeping toddler. My daughter was devastated when I took Jessie from her, but I informed her that Jessie refuses to be quiet and so she has to sleep in the toy box.

And get this, there is not off switch!

It's frustrating. You'd think there was a pull string for a reason. Oh well, the doll is cute (if not a tad awkward physically) and my daughter loves it. To be honest, the Velcro on the back that attaches her bottom half to her upper half and conceals the battery for this toy doesn't stay closed very well.

Oh well, my daughter doesn't know the difference. To her this is the best thing in the world, well, until the lights go out and Jessie has to leave the room.

I purchased Jessie for my granddaughter's 4th birthday. Lillian has carried her everywhere with her. She is fascinated by all the things Jessie says. Jessie is put together very well--looks exactly like the movie Jessie and seems quite sturdy. Lillian's little year old brother also loves Jessie--and is trying for it whenever he can! Our son and his wife are thrilled with the toy as well.

Order the one shown, order the one w/ plastic hair whose face looks more authentic to the movie. We rec'd the other one for our 3 year old daughter, but she couldn't bear to part with it to return for the other one...so we had to keep. The one with yarn hair isn't as nice of quality, and if you have a little rough one like me I can't picture the hair staying in too long. Also, everytime you pull the string it doesn't go back in and gets stuck...you have to rough it up to get it to go back in. Last but not least the Disney/Pixar (plastic hair) doll says over 20 sayings...and the Disney/Parks (yarn hair) only says maybe 10.

My daughter loves her Jesse doll. She was really happy with her. She was a good size. One lil complaint the little black string on the back of the chap pants was a little flimsy and ripped easily.

My 4 year old picked out this Jessie doll by looking at the pictures provided. I believe this is probably the toy she wanted but the packaging was totally different. She, of course, thought it was the wrong one. It is advertised "Toy Story 3" but nowhere on the package is that name. I thought this was the movie version like our Woody; the one with the certificate of authenticity. It is not. However, daughter seems satisified so I'm happy.

This is one of the best toys out there! I recieved it for Christmas, and I can't stop playing with her. She's so much fun!!! Her pull string sayings are super awesome and can set a storyline for some playtime. Her hat falls of sometimes, but that's fun too, because you can generate some playtime with it!!! There is no defects. The hat you can place on her head tightly so it doesn't fall of, but she's cool with or without her hat. If you want to buy this toy, than I would say GO FOR IT!!! You definately won't regret buying such an awesome toy, trust me. I love her and will keep her forever. I hope that I helped! You should buy her, she's a lot of fun!!!

My daughter and son love this toy. Sounds just like jessie in the movie and they carry it around with them everywhere we go!
