We have a set of read-along stories from Toy Story and Toy Story 2 that we received as a gift several (5+) years ago. Like this Toy Story 3 read-along, the accompanying books were 32 pages in length, entertaining and well-narrated. However, those older stories have a run time of 15 to 20 minutes each while this new Toy Story 3 read-along is only about 8 1/2 minutes in length. I'm a little disappointed with how short it is.

I haven't purchased the new (2010) read-alongs for Toy Story and Toy Story 2 since we already own older copies, but I would be curious to know if the new versions of those are short too (i.e. less than 10 minutes)

I bought this for my 2, 4, and 6 year olds to listen to. Since the attention span of this age group is not incredibly long I found the story to be the perfect length. I liked how it was the original cast that lends its voice to the characters in this book. The only drawback that I found was that the book itself is a little flimsy (hence 4 stars rather than 5). So, I do make sure my kids are not fighting over it and that it is put away right after they are done listening to the story. All three of them enjoyed the story and it kept their attention the whole time.

My grandson and I only listened to this read-a-long book twice and on the third time it read for about 2 pages worth and then nothing.

I don't know why this book has low reviews. Everyone in my house loves this book and it deserves 5 stars!

My Toy Story's disc 3, I come near with a very deep stripe to the half of the disc ... and the disc this one damaged, his reproduction is impossible, I feel defrauded, cannot do a return for which it goes out for me mas expensivly!
