From the Certificate of Authenticity bearing "Toy Story Collection" line by Thinkway Toys, this 3-pack of Little Green Men (L.G.M.'s, as they're known on the Buzz Lightyear of Star Command series) promises the most accurate Pizza Planet aliens ever released. This is quite true, as they are to proper scale and modeled from PIXAR's own computer data, just like all the new Toy Story Collection toys. However, also like all the new Toy Story collection toys, they have their big inaccuracy. In fact, the issue with the L.G.M.'s is probably the most glaring one of all these new toys. They simply do not SQUEAK! Unlike in the film, these otherwise excellent reproductions of the alien claw machine prizes from Toy Story's Pizza Planet are simply beautiful pieces of hard plastic. In other words, while these toys are great, for the collector they are only display pieces, nothing more. For the kids, they don't do much, but are still an essential part of a complete Toy Story line-up. Bottom line, they are probably the big disappointment of the current 6 Toy Story Collection releases from this first wave. They're still fantastic if you're just going to put them on the shelf, but not making them squeaky, especially when they are the only toys in this line so far that don't do anything else either, besides the Army Men, is just a sad, missed opportunity. Oh well, I still recommend them and this whole collection. The more you collect, the cooler they all look grouped together, like they stepped right out of the movies! All the toys in this line have beautiful packaging too, great for gifts, though they are all rather highly priced (again, besides the Green Army Men), and in the case of the L.G.M.'s, it seems a bit excessive.

My son LOVED the aliens from the Toy Story movies. He's 6 and within the last 3 weeks has been introduced to all 3 movies. The only toys he immediately wished for were the "aliens." He had a gift card so off we went to the local toy shop and searched the shelves. We almost went home disappointed until he found the box on a bottom shelf. Oh JOY! Oh RAPTURE! They haven't left his grasp since. He hasn't noticed or cared that they don't squeak. instead, he does something quite unusual and unheard of in that he MAKES THEM TALK! "OOOOOOO, strangers from the outside! OOOOO The claw!" I, as a parent, am sending prayers of thanks to "the claw" that they DO NOT SQUEAK! I have enough toys in the house that make maddening noise. As for comments about them not "doing anything".....remember toys do NOT HAVE TO DO ANYTHING when your imagination runs rampant with adventures. He's already had them traveling over wine glass and tennis shoe galaxies......(wine glass confiscated by Dictator Dad the Destructor). Are they inexpensive? No. But they are a good size and are decently made. $10 a piece seems not bad when you shell out $5 for a pack of skinny rubber shape bracelets that break all the time. So I say, if your son/daughter loves these little guys, GET THEM!!! (BTW, we got all 3 faces in our pack).

My favorite characters from Toy Story ARE the Aliens and I had been looking for them for some time now. The first place I saw them, was actually at the new local Toys'r'Us, but they were $10 more, plus tax. I finally decided to purchase them one day, because I didn't want them to be discontinued by them time I finally would decide to get them. I think they are a GREAT collector's item, and as far as them being a child's toy? I would say, buy them their own and keep the first set on the shelf. They are MORE than durable, its the hard plastic that is USUALLY made for collector's toys'. They do not squeek, so do not expect them too. I understand why some people expect them too, but since I bought them as a collector's item, that is not an issue to me. I love them, and they fit in great on our retro/vintage toy shelf that we have here at home.

This is my favority Alien collectible. They are good sized (as big as my palm) and so cute. It's a hit in my office cubicle. Was a great add to my collection of the little green alien from Toy Story!

These aliens are GREAT! Nice and Large! The only thing is that they do not squeak, which is perfectly fine because I don't want to be hearing "squeak squeak squeak" all day. Be careful because they are quite heavy and if your child throws it it can do some damage. But overall our son LOVES the aliens!

My 6 year old granddaughter was ecstatic upon receiving these little guys at Christmas! Shipping was fast & everything was in good condition!

I agree with the poster above. They look like they just walked out of the movie. However, they don't squeak. In fact the plastic is so hard you can't even squeeze them. If my three year old tossed them at me, and he connected, it would hurt. So, it's a collectible, not a functional toy. And boo for that(I wanted to play!).

I bought these for my daughter and she plays with them all the time. They also come in her backpack with her to places. The whites of the eyes got scuff marks on them so she wants me to paint over them. They are just small plastic toys that are well constructed. She uses a lot of imagination when playing with them, which is nice to see. Oh, they also sleep with her.

I bought these for my three year old for his birthday. He was so excited. We took them out of the box and realized they are very hard plastic, he pretty much tossed them to the side. They now live on a shelf. It wasn't a total loss because his room is done in Toy Story so they fit in and look really cute on the shelf but I had purchased them expecting a toy and not a decoration.
