I just got one of these for my son. To change the battery pop the back of the "rocket pack" off. (The part that covers the collapsed wings. It is made to snap off and will snap back on). Once the back is off you need to remove one screw and the battery cover will come off. As for the twist ties: I had trouble with this as well. You need to take off the rocket pack (see above). My son's toy had one twist tie on each shoulder. Once the pack is off it should be easy to see how to untangle and remove each shoulder's tie separately. Once the rocket pack is off removing the tape should be easier as well. Hope this helps!

Hi Sixlery rincones, Buzz is Authentic and the lights on it glow but doesn't glow in the dark. And yes it's from the Toy Story Collection. It says phrases in Spanish as well. Hope this helps.
