These slippers are quality crafted plush slippers, fun and entertaining to look at, and very comfortable while keeping the feet warm. Personally I didn't notice the, "Age 10-14" recommendation as I am a 20-something adult with a size 13-14 shoe, though to my surprise they fit me comfortably - a bit snug at first, but naturally with all shoes you need to have a break-in period for the soles to conform to your feet. With that said, I do feel the edge of my heel and a bit of my toes overhanging the large padded sole slightly, but it's nearly unnoticeable. At first it was a gift for my girlfriend with a size 7 1/2 Women's shoe size, but she said they were too big for her. The bold colors of greens, browns, and reds really stand out more than the pictures allude to and the, "popped out eyeball" and protruding tongue is a nice touch! I must say though, the eyeball never truly, "pops out!" like a previous reviewer states. It will come out of it's socket lazily, but upon reading said review, I was inclined to believe it would pop like a cork - this is not the case, but needs to be clarified for readers. All in all this product is well received and while I don't recommend walking around outside with these for preservation reasons, they are excellent house slippers even as a novelty item!

Pros: Comfort, entertainment value, craftsmanship/thick padded sole, vivid colors.

Cons: 'One size fits all' is somewhat misleading - too large for a Women's Size 7 1/2 and almost too small for a Men's Size 13-14, the art design is symmetrical (each foot is the same head, differentiating with the eye and tongue, all else is the same).

I purchased this as a gift for a friend and it was a hit. The slippers seem to be high quality and have a nice feel to them. I think they will last for a while but keep in mind they are slippers and not something more. They look better in person than the pictures. They didn't fit my feet, I wear a size 14, but they fit my friend perfectly, he wears an 11. I think the price and quality are great and I recommend getting them if you are looking for a great original gift.

I go to Amazon because for one thing, I count on good reviews to influence some purchases. When I first saw these slippers I was delighted! Then I read the reviews and wanted to add my own that these slippers truly ROCK! I was afraid I would frighten my grandkids with them but my daughter said they'll think I'm the coolest Grandma on Earth! They are not cheaply made, that's for sure. They are very sturdy and have hard soles so you can walk around the grocery store so people think you are weird. I'm going to! The eye popping shoe is a real winner, and my daughter, with a little experimentation, figured out a way to place the eye in its socket so that one only needs to flex their foot and POP! Out it comes! We love Halloween around our house and always will. All Grandchildren are indoctrinated to trick or treating early on. And it's gorgeous items like this that keep the kid in me from never growing up. :)
