Surprisingly great,
By A Customer
This review is from: Toyes (Audio CD)
This is a really great CD that harkens back to the fun reggae heydey of such early 80s bands as Third World, Steel Pulse and Black Uhuru. Even with song titles like "Smoke Two Joints", "Monster Hash" and "What's So Bad About A Nipple?", this is not a novelty record. Strong songwriting and unexpected smiles are to be found on this disc.

Great Hawaiian Rock/Island Sounds,
By A Customer
This review is from: Toyes (Audio CD)
Love this band. Back in my rebellious youth (1980's) these guys were big in the local Hawaiian music scene. Smoke two joints was probably the best known, but Listen To The Radio is in my opinion the best song on the whole disc.

don't listen while driving (the first time),
This review is from: Toyes (Audio CD)
This is one of the freshest, funniest, easiest-to-listen-to albums I own. As another reviewer pointed out -- everyone I play it for wants a copy. And it's melodically interesting enough to listen to even when I'm not "listening".
