Sadie's book was extremely informative! I recently purchased my first toy and needed a starting point! She gave great info. about.....

-Toys, toys, toys, all shapes, sizes, textures!
-Positions for him, her, and us!
-Cleaning, Caring and Lubricating
-Descreate storage
-All the lil details I didn't know!

Sadie did everything short of drawing a map to the nearest sex shop! :)

I liked how she describe each stlye of toy, without promoting a specific brand.... this gave me ideas about what to try without "pushing" any particular name brand. It made all the info. seem more important than the products.

Information... not an informerial! :)

What can I say, I thought the book was great!

If you want a book that is your complete manaual to sex toys, then this is the book for you. Sadie shows you all the types of toys and how to use them. She also gives you tips on how to bring toys into the bedroom and introduce them to your significant other. Very good read! This book should be in your goodie drawer for a quick reference guide.

I had no idea where to begin when I went out to buy my first toy. While I was shopping at my local shop I found this book. I bought it and read it cover to cover! It was so great in helping me choose which type of toy I wanted to try and once I had that one for a bit it helped me decide what my "moving up" toy would be. I love it because it doesn't give specific brands but it does tell me what the different types do so I could go to my local store gather up all the similar ones and see which one called my name! I also thought the chapter about springing sex toys on your lover was great and very helpful.

I've always been curious about sex toys but always afraid to ask the salesperson "how do you use this?". Until I found this book...it has educated me on how to use toys with myself and my boyfriend! "Toygasms" has great illustrations and is an easy read. It gives you different techniques and tips and I recommend it to anyone who is curious about sex toys.

My partner was never really comfortable with me wanting to try a toy...for he thought that it may "ruin me"??? After a good friend of ours told us to check out this book, he finally was convinced that it might respark our sex lives again. We finally ordered the book, and found that it gave us a lot of great ideas and information on what type of toys to try. We then got enough nerve to browse the website ticklekitty.com, and bought a our first toy to try out. We now have a small collection that has only enhanced our sex lives x10! Thanks to Sadie's book...we have been able to become more intimate on a level that I have never experienced with anyone before. If you don't have this book....I really suggest on getting it...because you don't know what you missing! ;)

I've always been rather skeptikal of sex toys and I think most men are. My girlfriend bought this book a few weeks ago and it took her a week to get me to read it. I must say though, I'm glad I did! We've been having crazy sex and the toys really do enhance it. This book makes it easy to understand how to use any toy you could imagine and lays it out step by step with suggestions along the way that are phenomenal. We've been buying quite a few toys from Saide's website and each one is a new experience and a guaranteed fun. We've also got Sadie's other two books and they've all become my sex bibles!

I bought this book because I'm new to sex toys, I've recently bought my first two. I wanted some help with choosing, some ideas about how to include them in a heterosexual couple's sex life, and some information about storing and cleaning them.

The book includes:
* Some information about different kinds of sex toys and what their purpose is.
* Lots of ideas for using them, both for yourself and with a partner.
* Information about masturbation for women, without toys!
* Both information about toys for women and toys for men.
* Some information about cleaning them.

The information spans over "normal" sex, strap ons, and anal play. The focus is on a heterosexual couple but is very good for a lesbian couple as well. Not much for heterosexual men though. The focus is on the woman and her pleasures, even though it has a chapter about toys for men and some ideas of how to use toys on men.

What disappointed me was:
* Very little information about cleaning, I would have wanted some info about good adult toy cleaners, what to look at and what they should/shouldn't contain.
* Very very little information about storing and hiding them, since that was one of the things mentioned both here on Amazon and on the back cover I was expecting some info. There was only a paragraph with two ideas: in a shoebox under the bed or in the closet!
Nothing about the fact that jelly products shouldn't be stored together because of the risk of them "eating up" and destroying each other. No mention of the fact that different materials shouldn't be put together. Nothing about keeping them dust and lint-free and if a plastic or a cloth bag is best. I was looking forward to information about that since I've read lots about that on the internet. A huge disappointment. Please search the net too, jelly toys can destroy each other, and every toy should be individually stored.

Another thing I should mention is that she doesn't give any direct tips about brands or products. I guess that's a good descision, but I would have liked some comparasions between different lubricants and some brand names she recommend. But since she doesn't mention any brands at all, I think it's okay.

I'm glad I bought this book and I will absolutely keep it. It was probably worth the money. I read it in just an half hour but I will probably read some parts more than one and I look forward to trying out some of her ideas. It's a nice small pocket book, but it could have been so much better, so easily. Just some info about storing and cleaning and maybe one or two more ideas, and I would have given it a 5/5.

Well, I used to consider myself a bedroom minx until I read this book. It's packed with toys and tidbits that I just didn't know about. Though my vibrator and I have been good friends since college, I was completely clueless about the variety of sex toys available. I also didn't know about all the super stimulating techniques I was missing in my play (this book has over 40 of them).

Dr. Allison takes the time to go into detail about a variety of naughty products, their uses, and care. Sex toy shopping is a whole new experience. I go into stores knowing precisely what I want, and how to use it. Weather it vibrates or just glides, I've been very happy following Sadie's advice.

Toy Gasms! What's in a name? Everything that's what! This book is spicy and tantalizing from cover to cover! It helps with choosing your first toy and how to use it to get O soooo happy to see it each time you use it. Techniques abound and pictures galore are packed into this fun tastful book on toys. I believe this book can help everyone enjoy a more sensual experience solo or not! I highly recommend this fact filled book to a first timer or a person who has been there done that and just want to know where to now?

This is more of what I would consider a "pocket sized" book. No actual photographs of sex toys are included, and though most of the information is correct, it's pretty minimal, and geared more towards heterosexual folks.
