5.0 out of 5 stars the light architect: toyo ito, April 15, 2000
This review is from: Toyo Ito: Blurring Architecture 1971-2005 (Paperback)
toyo ito certainly is one of the most innovative architect in Japan after metabolist in 60's. I would call him the new wave Japanese architect as he not merely not follow the traditions but also think about what the new japanese architecture should be.

The simulated city concept about Japan is discribing what Japan looks like today. Ito thinks that his architecture is just like some devices to retain the flow of informations in the city. He makes his architecture to be transparency, or some call him opaque transparancy....in this book, it is a good review of his work from 70's to oo's. u could see how an architect get mature and mature in his design and also how he apply his theory in his works.
