Backwoods coupon clipper thrives in art and antique world!,
By A Customer
This review is from: Toys & Prices 1999 (Toys and Prices, 1999) (Paperback)
The 1999 6th Edition of Toys & Prices is a treasure in itself covering 928 pages of potential money. Resist reading the right side of price listings much like a menu. Realizing current retail prices listed may vary,we understand the book is to serve as a guide not a bible. Study the Grading Guides which hold vital info and abbreviations. From the A-Team to Zorro, accumulative knowldege renders you more powerful than ever in your trek thru Goowill and garage sales. Behind your new poker face rests the knowledge that this is potential money. I can live with that. Reviewer, Nancy Barrow, lives in the state of bliss after leaving the workforce. From a career in radio to cable tv, Nancy's hobbies now include worrying about money and pacing the floor.

A little about a lot of things, but not much about anything,
This review is from: Toys & Prices 1999 (Toys and Prices, 1999) (Paperback)
This book is ok, if you want to know just a little about a lot of things and not much about anything... I was disapointed at all the collectible toys they left out... Too much on hot wheels, beanies and old tin toys and not enough on Barbie, Fisher Price etc. Nothing on Transformers, Slot Cars or other popular collectibles. Prices do not jive with Schroeders or current market. Photos ok, but not great. A ok book if you want to know just a little about some things. I was disapointed, I returned my copy...

Hunt For Those Toy Treasures!,
This review is from: Toys & Prices 1999 (Toys and Prices, 1999) (Paperback)
Are you wondering what to do with all those old toys that are up in your attic? Before you sell them at your next garage sale, or pitch them in the trash; I'd recommend that you check out their value.Toys & Prices is a great book to give you some idea of what treasures you may have in your home. The book is packed full of information on the value of toys such as the Match box cars, board games, coloring books and even lunch boxes. I was amazed at what was collectable and sighed knowing what I had sold at last months garage sale. I recommend this book, it's full of interesting information and also has some identifying pictures to help you along. Good treasure hunting to you! Shirley Johnson
