This toy was a Christmas gift. It isn't a total failure, but it doesn't quite work well. The sound quality is very bad (poor reception, very buzzy). The range is very low - about 15 feet maximum. My kids still manage to have fun with it, but it isn't what it promises to be.

Bought this for a friend's son who just started riding a bike last summer. Great way to keep in contact. Parents say the quality is good and he likes it!

Do not waste your money on this product. These walkie talkies do not work unless you are standing right beside each other. I purchased these for my grandson for Christmas. For 29.99 they should work!! I am very disappointed. This was my first purchase through Amazon.com. I wouldn't give this product even 1 star.
