I bought this for my grandson, who is 10 years old. What an entertaining gift! It kept him busy for several hours assembling the robot, gave him a great sense of achievement when it was completed, and he loves the robot.

Bought this for my daughter at xmas. She was able to assemble by herself (she's 12 yrs). Once it was completed we placed it on her bedroom floor and it swept all the dust bunnies from under her bed. She got an awesome robot to build and I got the dirt out from under her bed. Would recommend this robot. This does not work on carpets though.

My grandson was very disappointed as a major part was missing and we were unable to put it together. I emailed the manufacturer and was not even sent a reply. I will not buy this product again.

Amazon did refund my money, but what fun was that for my grandson?

This is just a cute, fun project to do with your kids. It teaches them that you can use objects around the house for things other than their intended purpose. It's adorable.

My 7 year-old daughter loves building things, esp. robots, and she picked this kit out herself. This did require some parental assistance, but she still had a great time. We did get it working, for only a minute though. A wire broke off the motor pretty abruptly. I have e-mailed the manufacturer to ask for a replacement motor...let's see what happens...

Had many issues: wire snapped off motor, so we had to solder on two new wires, no instructions on which (small, medium, large) screws go into which (small, medium, large) holes, so it's trial-and-error, snap-in "wire connectors" are fussy and fall out easily, drilled two holes in the sides of the motor housing to route the wires (much better than original), screwdriver not included. Keep away.

Great little craft - my son enjoyed making it. Only problem was the screws included were too short in a couple of areas so we had to replace them with longer screws. Naturally we didn't have any on hand so had to go to Home Depot not once, but twice in order to get the right ones (this was our fault-should have taken the robot with us)!

This was a huge hit for Christmas. My son who is 11 loved it and it was fun for him to put together. It is still working and he actually added more stuff to it that he found around the house. It didn't take him too long to put together and he did it all by himself. This is a toy for an older child my 3 year old also thinks it is so cool but if he got a hold of it, it would be broken for sure.

This looked like a neat present for my son, but when we opened it, the directions were missing. Makes it kind of hard to actually use the product.

I bought this for my 8 year old son. It's cute and fun to watch, but it's very, very small. It looks much bigger on the box. He played with it for a few hours and put it on the shelf. Hasn't touched it since.
