Bought this for my daughter, to replace the PARENTS one that my boys wore-out. It doesn't have the mirror, and the colors are not quite as pleasant, but it is the exact same toy otherwise. My daughter loves to whack the balls, and watch them roll through the maze.

What looks like a very simple toy to adults, is nothing but pure pleasure to our son. Pound a Ball is a favorite that allows a child to hit a ball with a hammer and then watch it travel down some "S" tubes. You can engage with your child by telling them to hit specific colored balls. They can also have a stuffed animal friend pretend to hold the hammer and hit the balls. My only knock on the item is that the construction is a bit cheap for an over $[...] toy.

This toy provides practice for eye hand coordination, matching colors, fine motor control, and cause and effect. It appeals to a toddler, but you will see a three year old enjoy it too! I like toys which are durable, educational, and are appealing for a long time! Good toy!
