5.0 out of 5 stars Fun and Durable
I have this fun set in my infant/toddler classroom. The kids love them (and so do the teachers). The kids have a great time cranking them back and letting them zoom arond the room. (They travel over smooth and carpeted surfaces, unlike other toy vehicles.) This is one set of toys that don't get put in the closet, they stay on the shelves all year round!

2.0 out of 5 stars Not sure why these got rated so high.
My 1 year old got these for Christmas and they have already stopped going forward and they certainly go nowhere on carpet. They also feel really cheap, but strangely they were not cheap. Granted, he has pulled them back a few times in the last week and he has done the typical one year old banging, but what kid doesn't do this to toys, and what kind of company doesn't make...

5.0 out of 5 stars Great for little hands, January 4, 2007

My son got these cars for his first Christmas when he was 6months old. He is now 18 months and still plays with these cars a lot. In fact, he and his older brother (4) have races with the cars. They are soft, durable and propel themselves. They are also just the right size - small enough to hold but big enough not to be a choking hazard. I have given these cars as gifts and would do so again in the future.

These toy cars are great. With a little instruction our one-year old grandson learned how to rev it up to go on its own. There are four in the package, so our grandchildren can all play with one at the same time. Kids even 5 or 6 liked it.

5.0 out of 5 stars Too Cute..., December 3, 2006
This review is from: Toysmith Battat Ready Set Go Cars Toy (Toy)
My son received these when he was 7 months old and we are loving them! They're adorable and chunky and work great on carpets or hard floors. They're easy for little hands to hold on to and a couple of them rattle. When my nephews come over they always find these--and they're 5 and 7!

Granted, he has pulled them back a few times in the last week and he has done the typical one year old banging, but what kid doesn't do this to toys, and what kind of company doesn't make toys to withstand this type of playing. I'd say if your kid is past the banging, abusing toys phase and you have only hard wood floors in your home, then these are the cars for you, but if not check out K's cars. He also got those for Christmas, and those are much better quality.

I bought these cars at Target about a year ago for my now 2 year old son. He loves them, he still plays with them now a year later. They're large enough that they're easy for little ones to play with and don't pose a choking hazard. They're easy to move and don't make annoying sounds, a plus for parents! Overall a great toy, however, they are available at Target for about $15., I wouldn't pay $30 plus shipping for them as they are listed here.

I bought these at Target for my son when he was 12 mths old. He loves these cars. Took him a little bit to figure out to roll them back to get to move forward, but once he got it, he loved them.

I don't see that anyone has mentioned this so I thought I'd add it...

In addition to these cute little cars they are packaged in this terrific cube box with a transparent front and a carrying handle. PERFECT for wrapping. So much better than getting toys in plastic bags or blister packs. I was impressed with the packaging.

The cars really are cute.

I was so excited to think that they would work on our carpet, but they didn't. And now one of them isn't working at all. My little one still likes them, but not as much as I had hoped.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Cars, August 9, 2008

My daughter is now almost 2 1/2 and has loved playing with these for over a year. They are soft, and don't make any annoying noises, which is great. They don't move on their own on carpet, but we play with them on a foam play mat and they work great.
