Within 10 minutes of leaving the store this toy exploded goo all over my 9yr old daughters hands. She barely had time to get it out of the package.
As soon as I am done with this review I am e-mailing the manufacture.

I have seen the blob balls before, so I decided to buy two. I did worry about the strength of the seal. One ball did develop a hole, but the other one is a great learning toy, especially for kids who need to practice using their hands.

I love these dang things, but literally the moment I took it out of the package, the net started to rip. That's frustrating!

This is the most disgusting device I have ever seen. IT'S WONDERFUL!! jsrp

I bought this for my three year old handicapped child to use as a therapy tool for hand strength. He has very little strength, and yet the thing broke on the third squeeze. He, of course, then freaked out about the slime on his hand. What a waste.

Yeah, so they are pretty terrible in quality. Mine broke pretty quickly. But the few days that I couldn't put it down were pretty amazing. What a simple and fantastic little thing. And when it breaks open, you get the joy of discovering that it's filled with flarp, or whatever you want to call that neat florescent goo. Almost as much fun as the toy itself. Besides, I was dying to know what it was made of anyway.
This is a good toy to get your difficult-to-shop-for teenager for his/her Christmas stocking or Easter basket. One of those things where it will get set aside after a few days anyway, but who cares.
