This cd from Biagio Antonacci is simply amazing. You find wonderful love songs and intense rock songs about freedom, but it's in the love songs that Biagio expresses his enormous talent. Listen to it with the person you love and you will see what I mean when I talk about emotions. Enjoy the music and if you are so lucky to understand the words, listen carefully to what Biagio has to say about love.

I have to say this is one of the most wonderful CD's I own. The tracks mesh perfectly with the lyrics, and the songs are totally sensual, deep, expressive and catchy. Biagio is now officially my favorite Italian artist! My very favorites are Iris, Iris remix, Le Cose Che Hai Amato Di Piu, Alessandra, and Quanto Tempo E Ancora. Enjoy!

More than just a singer,

Biagio Antonacci is to me probably the best singer in current Italian music. What sets Biagio aside of his peers, namely Ramazzotti, Grignani, Ferro, Nek, etc. certainly is the profoundness of his lyrics. He's a poet, a contemporary juglar, so much more than just a singer. "Sei il mio primo pensiero da quando apro gli occhi, nelle mattine che si accendono. E la luce di semplice cose che illumina. Ti ricordi davvero di me? Come io ricordo di te? O ti ricordi perche?"

i was looking for an artist on par with gianluca grignani, tiziano ferro, nek, and laura pausini, and came across biagio's antonacci's "tra le mie canzoni". i was not impressed. he has a sensual voice, but his songs were too monotonous for me, despite some very touching lyrics. i was not impressed and do not enjoy listening to this album, which contains tracks of live recordings, but antonacci's efforts are most notable.

My husband brought this CD back the latest trip to see his family while I was in school. Actually, the song was on Pavarotti and friends. "Se E' Vero Che Ci Sei...."....E un messagio per te....
just repeats and repeats in my head. Normally this drives me nuts but I love the song so much that I listen to it again and again and again. His soft voice and this song are the most beautiful combination!It makes me happy I learned Italian!! I am 6 mos pregnant & My little baby in my belly goes nuts every time we listen to the song! Something else to thank Pavarotti for!! We love it! Mommy & Baby to be in Minnesota |
