[Update]
Developer was very responsive and clarified my concerns about the add-ons (see comment). The ads are indeed disabled, and the use of Flurry here is legit (balancing level difficulty). Great job dev!

Sidereus is a very simple game - you guide a white star on a 2D map to eliminate yellow targets that might move, disappear/reappear and/or blocked by various stationary or moving obstacles. You are given a finite number of moves on each level. Some levels have green targets which give you extra moves, essentially like extra health.

The game's graphics continues the minimalist feel with its simple yet uniquely crisp look. The music is decently soothing and can be turned off if you don't like it. There are no tutorial when you first start - but after some trial and error you'll quickly pick it up. In less than 30 minutes, I am about 70% through the game. Due to its simple nature, I don't think there will be much replay value once I finish it.

The developer included both adsense and admob (both are for displaying ads), as well as Flurry analytics add-ons. I haven't encountered any ads thus far, so perhaps those ad add-ons are inactive. The Flurry analytics is more worrisome to me, as it is used to track app usage patterns. You can opt out at Flurry.com, although you would have to give them your device ID in the process.

Pro:
-simple yet sharp and crisp graphics
-music is soothing if a little bit repetitive (can be turned off if you don't like it)
-simple and addictive gameplay
-didn't encounter any ads

Con:
-probably not much replay value
-contains ads add-ons (looks to be inactive)
-contains Flurry analytics

Summary:
Sidereus is a decently entertaining game that's definitely worth a try as the free app of the day. I probably will delete it after I finish all the levels, as I don't see myself replaying the game.

Sidereus is a little target game where you move a piece around the screen to touch and eliminate targets. The piece moves by touching the spot on the screen you wish the piece to move to. You have a limited number of "moves" on each screen, and an increasing number of objects to clear as the game progresses.

It becomes more complicated as both stationary and moving asteroids are added to the screen. When your piece touches either type of obstacle, you lose and start that screen over. It's interesting enough but I don't think it will hold my interest for long.

I dock a star for a few reasons:
1. The game only accepts one screen orientation. It plays in landscape orientation, but doesn't flip if you turn the device over. I found that to be inconvenient as I had my device on charge and would have preferred to play with the charging cord sticking out towards the top.
2. The game doesn't seem to progress on its own. Once you are done with a sequence of screens it is up to you to know if you have completed all the levels at a particular planet and hit the "right arrow" to progress to the next planet.
3. On one planet I played, I completed the level one screens. I then chose Level Two. I was presented with the same sequence of screens that level one had provided. Now, it could be that Level Two is supposed to be the same sequence of screens at a higher difficulty (faster moving asteroids or something) but if that is the case, I didn't notice it. Level Two seemed exactly the same to me as Level One.

For a free app of the day, there is no reason not to try it. I seriously doubt I will play this game often, but your tastes of course might appreciate this game more.

The graphics are crisp and attractive, and game movements of both moving obstacles and your game piece are true and consistent.

I didn't experience any performance or operational issues with the game on a Kindle Fire HD 8.9.

This is a pretty straight forward arcade game- It's no asteroids but it's fun all the same to gather the crystals.

The good: Good design, clear graphics, easy controls, no ads, minimal (acceptable flurry use), ability to turn the music off, game advances quickly.

The bad: No tutorial, It's a throw away game because no one would play it twice, can't change screen orientation.

The ugly: because the game contains disabled add-ons, the developer could easily put out an update that changes what the program does today.

This is a nice and simple little game. After playing the first 3 stages, I would describe this game as a "simplified space Frogger." The object is to collect a shiny square while avoiding asteroids.

Pro
Decent graphics
Simple to understand
Maybe fun for kids?

Con
Simple, easy, short.
No real replay value.

This is a nicely designed game and the graphics are very nicely done. There is even an exit button on the home screen. The object of the game is to collect all of the jewel like objects while avoiding the asteroids as you travel from planet to planet. Some asteroids are stationary and some are moving and tumbling. Each progressive level gets harder. It is a mind teasing puzzle that makes you think of the best strategy to clear the screen. As some of the objects are moving quickly you have to carefully get to the right area and also use perfect timing. Each level changes and it adds something to increase the difficulty like having the jewels move to a new location on the screen or to have them disappear and reappear somewhere else on the screen.

I like this game as it in challenging, frustrating and entertaining. It is not a fast action game but a thinking game. Once you complete the game I don’t know if the game has any replay value, as you have figured out a strategy to beat each level, but for a free game it is well worth getting.
