My tracfone has worked out good so far. Customer service is fine and the free voicemail was easy to set up and use. If you decide to get a tracfone, please email me for a quick referral before activating it- we each will get 100 free minutes from the 'refer a friend' program. I'll also send you the simple instructions to follow. I've used Tracfone for quite a while, so i should be able to answer any questions you might have.

ps even if you have activated in the last few weeks i can help you get the free minutes

I love the newer lower price for this card. I don't use my Tracfone very much, but it is there when I need it and this card has just been reduced in price. Sometimes tracfone.com gives double minutes as a special on these cards as well as the 1 year 150 min. card (they give you an extra 100 min).

I've owned a Tracfone for 3 years. My old Tracfone quit working, so I purchased a new one. I've been trying for 4 weeks to transfer my old phone number to my new Tracfone. It's been a nightmare-after 4 weeks, 3 new sim cards, and countless calls to TracFone customer service reps, I've accomplished nothing. My phone is still not activated, I still don't have my old number transfered, and I've wasted 7 hours speaking to customer reps. I don't recommend TracFone.

I don't think they should round the seconds to the next minute because like for example, I'll make a call and spend 1 minute, 1 second, and it'll take off two minutes when I only used 0.50833333333333333333333333333333 of 2 minutes and it's wasteful of money, don't you think? That's only getting about half of what I paid for. So I think they should count the minutes exactly.

My tracfone has good reception. i like that it has free call waiting and free caller id. if you haven't activated your tracfone yet then the 'refer a friend program' will give each of us 120 free minutes. please send me an email and i will send you a fast referral( i check my email often). it's a win/win! thank you.

tracfone is a great company for anyone looking to get a contract free cellphone. because you can buy the minute cards anwhere this service is good even for kids. i would highly recommend their service to anyone especially if you have kids. with their new digital service you get free caller id an voicemail, which many of the other wireless service dont have. PLEASE NOTE; AS OF 10/29/07, TRACfONE HAD NOT REINSTATED THE REFER-A-FRIEND PROGRAM. It is looking more and more unlikely that TracFone will NOT be giving away free minutes for such a program!!! THEREFORE, PLEASE DISREGARD THE REMAINDER OF THIS REVIEW!!!(Since TracFone Airtime can be purchased online as well as in the form of cards in major drugstores and "big box" stores, there should be no rush to buy minutes until you have used 120 Free Minutes you can get BEFORE ACTIVATION of your "fone" if you e-mail me to request the REFER A FRIEND e-mail which you will use to activate your fone and be eligible for 120 Free Minutes. You MUST HAVE THIS E-MAIL from me or someone else PRIOR TO ACTIVATING YOUR TRACFONE. PLease do NOT make the mistake made by a few people who activate their fone and then contact me too late. I've had my Tracfone for about 3 months now. The reception has been generally good. Once i got the phone activated, I haven't had any problems. Tracfone has a 'refer a friend' program that will give each of 120 free minutes. All you have to do is send me an email asking for a referral. My email is debsclay@gmail.com
