've had my Tracfone for about 3 months now. The reception has been generally good. Once i got the phone activated, I haven't had any problems. Tracfone has a 'refer a friend' program that will give each of 100 free minutes. All you have to do is send me an email asking for a referral. My email is debsclay@gmail.com

Tracfones are ideal for people with light or medium cellphone
usage, so it works out well for me. The tracfone
website is user friendly and makes it easy to
activate, etc. I paid an extra $10. and got the car charger that just plugs into the cigarette lighter if the tracfone battery gets low when i'm driving. If you email me for a referral before activating then Tracfone will give each of us 100 free minutes!

I've had my Tracfone for about 6 months. It has good battery-life between charges. The phone itself is compact and stylish. I also bought the optional adapter that plugs into my car cigarette lighter. Tracfone has a 'refer a friend' program that will give each of 100 free minutes if i refer you anytime before you activate the phone. All you have to do is send me an email asking for a referral.

text messaging worked fine for 2 days then suddenly stopped working. I couldnt send but could recieve.

I call them. they gave me a code,had me try it. Didnt work. After wasting a minute on my airtime with them having me trying to send myself a text message, she said it will work in 5-6 buisness hrs.

Of course it didnt so call them again. She said the whole text message network was down while upgrading. I email a friend who has tracfone. Her text messaging worked just fine.

I call again. She says to turn off phone for 1hr. they are working on problem. I turn it off and turn it back on 2hrs later. Still dont work

I call again. she says it will work in 5-6hr.

So, I just went in a complete circle and it still wont work. I really dont think they know what they are doing there. It dont help they can barely speak the english.

I email support on their site a couple times but I never recieved a human response.

Tracfone has served me well. I have no problem talking in a basement. Always works anywhere I carry. If you are planning to purchase a Tracfone or already purchased it but did not activate yet, you are qualified for a free 100 minutes. Simply send me your email address so that I can refer you to Tracfone company. In less than a day or so, you will get an email from Tracfone saying I am referring you to the company. Then follow the steps suggested in that email and put my information you can find from that mail. In 1 - 2 days you will get a confirmation email regarding the availability of your free 100 minutes. Follow the steps in that email, then your phone will have extra 100 minutes!
