TracRac 21000 series base rails are anodized aluminum rails that when combined with a TracRac 4200 series overhead rack (sold separately), complete the TracRac G2 sliding pickup truck bed rack system. The TracRac G2 system is modular in design, allowing users to customize the hauling ability of their vehicles for work and recreational applications, and features installation that does not require the drilling of holes in truck rails or truck beds. TracRac base rails are the required component for additional TracRac accessories such as the TracTonneau 23500 series pickup truck cover, the TracBox truck box, cargo dividers and so on. The base rails are available in a variety of lengths designed for specific vehicle models and bed rail configurations. They are also compatible with the earlier 22500 TracRac overhead sliding rack series.

Easily Installed Rails to Build a Modular Pickup Rack System On

TracRac 21000 series base rails are the central component of the TracRac G2 sliding rack system for pickup truck beds. The base rails are designed for ease of installation, requiring no drilling of holes in truck rails. They instead utilize expansion blocks (included), which are connectors extending down through stake pocket openings in pickup side rails at one end, and connecting to the bottom of base rails at the other. The 21000 series contains a variety of models, each cut to a specific length, and pre-drilled with holes that match the length of side rails, and placement of stake pockets in the vehicles they are intended for.

Each base rail has three separate T-shaped tracks built into it - two side-by-side along the top edge, and one laterally aligned along its inner edge. The two along the top allow TracRac 4200 series overhead racks, or racks from the earlier 22500 series (both sold separately) to slide along the length of the tracks, and be locked into place at the exact spots required for differing hauling scenarios. The inner, side-oriented tracks enable the base rails to be used to mount a variety of exclusive TracRac G2 accessories, such as the TracBox, the TracTonneau cover, cargo dividers, and so on. All of these accessories can also slide the full length of the base rails, can be easily removed, and feature installation requiring no drilling. Security bolts integrated at the top ends of the rails keep racks and accessories from sliding off during use, and are removed with an allen wrench when a user wants to change the configuration of items secured to the base rail. Locking knobs are available for additional purchase. The base rails ship in pairs, are made in the USA from durable cast aluminum components for increased strength and rigidity, are and treated with a black anodized outer coating to decrease corrosion and wear.

The TracRac base rail is one of two components used to create a TracRac sliding truck rack system. This system is one of a kind which allows the user to adjust not only their racks to fit any length cargo, but also mount and slide accessories. Accessories for the system include - toolboxes, tie-downs, bed dividers and more. The TracRac sliding rack has a 1000 pounds load capacity and utilizes a damage-free mount system.
