5.0 out of 5 stars Got a lift from Electrolyte Stamina
I had to drive from Florida to New Jersey with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. A friend suggested I try this product and it worked. It gave me a lift and enabled me to drive longer and more alert than usual.

As I step up my cycling I've been looking for an alternative to the insanely expensive tubes of tablets that are flying around. Tried these and sorry to say they are just nasty tasting. Packaging is great, you get all excited to chug the stuff on the road, then find you're drinking something that tastes like salt and rocks that may have been in the same room as a cranberry a couple of weeks ago. But if taste is not important to you, it does seem to have the right ingredients.

The product has potential, BUT- the addition,UNNECESSARY, of FRUCTOSE (YUCK) which is so bad for us, turned me off. I actually called the manufacturer and complained! I have since reordered another product without any sugar!!!

5.0 out of 5 stars used it for half marathon training...., March 22, 2010
This review is from: Trace Minerals Research Electrolyte Stamina Power Pak Cranberry, 32-Count Boxes (Health and Beauty)
Personally, I really love this product but I do see how some people would dislike the taste. It's very light in flavor and it's fizzy (had a few water bottle bursts from the fizz). I like that it's not too sweet (only very slightly sweet) and has a light fresh taste. I love the convenience of carrying a small packet around and mixing it in water whenever I needed it. I used it through training for a half marathon and continue to use it on long runs or when feeling dehydrated. I like the natural ingredients and extra added minerals. I feel great when I drink it.

5.0 out of 5 stars Not only great for working out!, December 4, 2011

We love these Power Paks! We are not the type to workout, but they are great for a quick lift on those tiresome days when we don't have any energy. Not only that, they are great for when we're starting to get sick. We just take our Power Paks and it helps tremendously. It also helps that there are so many vitamins and minerals in these packets. We really like the orange blast flavor, although there is a tiny bit of metal taste in them, but not bad. When our kids are starting to get sick, I will mix a packet with 6 ozs. of water then mix 2 oz. of it in my kids' orange juice. They never even know it's there! It helps them get better quicker. Great product and doesn't taste bad!

4.0 out of 5 stars tastes good, October 21, 2011

I get these in an Amazon "subscription." My husband and I use them and we send them to my son at college who is is ROTC at A&M. They do a lot of long hard runs and he needs to stay hydrated. Plus, unlike Gatorade, it provides a bunch of Vitamin C. I've tried the lemon-lime flavor, too, but I like the grape flavor better.

Great Product. It does not taste great but the ingredients are what makes this product one of the best of its kind. The low sugar content is plus also.

I mix this with 10 oz of water and 10 oz of the 10 calorie XXX Vitamin Waters and it's great. Good to go!

3.0 out of 5 stars Great product--terrible cust. svc. for Subscribe & Save, November 10, 2011
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
I love the product. I've been using it almost every day for about a year now, and I can tell the difference when I miss a day. Therefore, I signed up for the Subscribe & Save to get a discount. Makes sense, right?

My product arrived on schedule for a couple of months with no problems. Then this month (Nov, 2011), it just didn't show up. I went online about a week after it should have arrived, and found that the next scheduled delivery was for next month, Dec. No explanation, no further details, just that the order for this month was placed on time (Nov), but the delivery would not arrive until a month later. Huh?? I checked the item listing, and it's in stock, so why the delay???

I called Cust. Svc. and the guy on the phone had less information than I did. All he could tell me was information I already knew from reading the listing. He kept saying, "Well, but there are only 13 of this item left in stock, so maybe those 13 are on reserve for others who got a subscription before you did." I understand that it's first-come, first-served, but if they're on reserve for someone else, then WHY are they listed as in stock on the website??

So then I asked if I could get a different flavor that had a deeper stock and still get my 15% discount for the subscription. According to this CS guy, apparently not: I would either have to create a 2nd subscription, or I would have to just order the other flavor at the listed price. (Can you be any LESS helpful??)

My conclusion: I should have saved myself the 20 min talking to some minion in Cust. Svc., and just clicked the "Send extra order" button in my Account. I called Cust Svc initially to confirm, just in case, that they weren't planning on sending me an order earlier than the estimated delivery date so I wouldn't request the extra order then end up with duplicates. But it was a waste of time and quite frustrating. Not to mention the fact that this guy kept talking to me as if I was some dummy who couldn't quite understand that stock is limited. (I own an online store--I know how stock works, and I told him so.)

So I still have no idea why my Nov shipment was skipped...why my Nov order was placed on the 8th (and perhaps I was charged for it already?? no clue), but the delivery isn't scheduled until a month later, despite the fact there are 13 left in stock according to the item listing online. The CS guy provided no help whatsoever, no useful information, and no proposed solution other than to wait. What a bunch of BS.
