I initially bought this book for further information on one chapter. But this book is so in-depth yet concise, I may make it through, cover to cover. The title does not do it justice. It covers all the aspects of Mass Spectrometry that people tend to forget about - theory, principles, classical techniques, chromatography, calibration, the list goes on, and it refers the reader to other sections for background information. Definitely a must for anyone interested in doing quantitative mass spec. Two thumbs up.
